  1. Chopping The Top! After finishing the Roll Cage I found that I could remove about 3/16 of an inch from the Top. I used 3/16" masking tape as a Template for the 2 Cut Lines. I drew the lines with a Sharpie. I cut out the areas between the lines with a Cut-Off Wheel. I Sanded the Cut Edges smooth on a Sheet of 120 Grade Sandpaper. I simply Sanded the edges on a the Sandpaper on a flat surface. I glued the body halves together with Zap-A-Gap, Green Label. More Coming...
  2. I Chopped the Top! Updates Coming Soon...
  3. Thanks Gene! Love Chopped Tops...
  4. More Bars! Next, I cut 2 lengths of Tubing and glued them between the Roll Bars. Then I added 2 more on the Front. After trimming the mounts from the bottom of the Seat, looks like we have enough room for the Driver. We have plenty of room for the Engine too. Good News! There is enough room to do a Very Serious Top Chop later... More Coming...
  5. Thanks for the kind words Russ! So glad you are enjoying the Beast...
  6. A Cage For The Beast! Before I started the Roll Cage, I added 4 lengths of Square Tubing to extend the Motor Mounts. I made the first section of the Cage from Bendable Plastic Rod. I measured , Bent and Glued it in place. I made the 2 Support Bars from Plastic Tubing and glued them in place as shown. I made the little front section from Bendable Plastic Rod. Measured , Bent and Glued it in place. More Coming...

  11. Pilots Seat! I cut the top from the Chevy Seat and fit it to the Pilots Back & Head. I added 2 strips of square Plastic Tubing to the front edge of the Pilots platform. This will make attaching to RRRobot easy. I also painted the Seat Back. Here is the Pilot with the Seat Back attached. More Coming...
  12. Sanding... I got most of the Sanding done on the Body. I'm going to work on the Chassis and Engine for awhile. I've been thinking about Chopping the Top, but I'll have to wait until the Chassis and Engine are Mocked-Up to see if there is enough room for Chopping... More Coming...

  14. Less Roll Pan! The Roll Pan is a little too big for the Beast... I cut the excess Roll Pan off with a Cut-Off Wheel and Sanding Sticks. More Coming...

  16. Cookies! I'm starting on the Cockpit for RRRobot. I found a tray from a package of Cookies that should work just fine... I cut the end off of the Cookie Tray and sprayed it with DupliColor Filler/Primer. I am also going to use part of this Seat that I found in a 12th Scale 57 Chevy Box. More Coming...
