Greetings all,,enjoy the works on here. This is a "what if" car,, entire build using leftovers from all my spare parts bxs,,so I have no idea what brand kit it is,,got it at a swap meet 1/2 built blob+ parts in a ziplock bag for 5$. I didnt have a correct front grill set,,so I put a charger front grill on,,looks ok. And the back tail lens area is a front grill from some custom kit of something. So its a kit bash for sure,,but it has its own look,,and thats all it needs. Build on!

So,,I was goin thru some shelf organizing today and ran across this,,A kitbashed Charger Daytona Flat top FC. The "Electra- Charger" Built this a few years ago,,kindof an experiment/bash kit. Used a rooftop from a PU truck kit for the cover over the interior. I think I used testors MF Lime gold for the can spray, hardware store green for the chassis,,and scratch built the front frame work,,and used a modified FC chassis for the back section. Tires+ rims from stash parts box. I always was amazed at the guys who drove these things back when,,no windshield,,must have been wild at 200MPH !

Well happy spring to all,,,finished up Revells 68" Hemi Dart,,cool kit,,Revell does a good job on the mtr in this,,but of course,,I have to put my touch on it. I wanted something sticking out of the hood,,duel carbs,,hi-rise,,blower,,somethin in there,,added x-tra roll bar in front, added some basic wiring, plumbing. other than that just the basic kit. Can sprayed testors qukdry enamel, hand painted rest. I did have probs with the rear window fit,,if I lined it up even at the top+bottom,,there was a huge gap on the sides relative to the c-pillars,,bizarre,,so I put it in, with the bottom "Vented" similar to a shelby GT racer rear window vent type. All in all,,it turned out fair. But good enough for my shelf! Keep up the great works here on MCM. S `

An oldie' but a goodie,,,MPC's 1/16th "Street Charger" Awsome kit to do,,had to modify very few things other than the "minor mods" I had in mind. Was going to clearcoat it,,but it looked kindof neat semi-gloss after a couple coats. Keep up the great stuff out there!
