  12. ahab its made by revell time for the surgical post, its been noted that this car sits really high at the rear when finished you can blame that on revellfor sure. since im about lowered car the whole thing is gonna be low. ive had fit issues with this car before so im well aware of where to deal with it i cut the recessed transmission lump out and shaved where the shock tower is gonna mount. reason being is if it hits it will only add to the ride height problem, im gonna cover the hole later good measure if you shave the shock tower too its up to you if you wanna repaint it. i did a quick test fit and it slightly lowered it but still too high i cut the shocks out of the shock tower, these will be mounted last after theyre modified time for the spindles i lengthened them since i wasnt sure about the drop i wanted better longer than too short and be right back where i started. see the dots on the styrene thats the corrected height since im going for a full drop ill be cutting above it. here it is after a dry mock up. if you cut at the dots you should have a 2mm gap on the fenders i dont because i like my cars super low

  23. i always BMF before clear ive been having problems with the detail master stuff for months since then ive been using aluminum foil and tack spray its brighter than bmf, yeah i did this time i usually dont sand the paint before clear because i stopped caring about showroom finishes long ago. urethane is good for hiding peel and slices in the paint during BMF
