I have known Steve for close to 20 years... I have bought from him at shows.. I have bought from him on the internet and I have had him attend Swap/Contest that I was the promoter of... Steve is what all cottage industries should model themselfs after... between Steve Kohler, Don Holthaus and Kenny at Bandit Resins are the perfect cottage industry businesses... This of course is just my opinion...

smallblockdodge products are substandard... best to start with Kennys (banditresin) 67 Cuda... Kennys stuff is top notch and he ships quickly...

the wheels look really good on this... BUT in the 1:1 world there isn't enough motor to roll them... LOL... just teasing... My Son drives a X-Box...

I am looking for a 440 Six pack hood for a 1969 Road Runner... I know the Charger came with the scoop but has anybody done the hood for a Road Runner... What would really be good is if somebody is casting it to fit the Johan 69 RR... but the AMT 68 would work I can do the simple conversion of that...

Yes Perrys Resins offers the 70-78 Mavericks on 2-dr & 4-dr versions and offers a full kit or partial kit... The @-door was mastered by Billy Gooche while the 4-dr was mastered by Jack Pennington...Doesn't another Resin Caster already offer that Maverick in yrs between 70 > 73 ??? -
I have known Steve for Close to 20 years... You will not deal with a nicer guy than Steve Kohler (Star Models)... Steve came to one of my Very First Model Swap/ Contest that I produced and has been a STRONG promoter of models ever since...
You can't go wrong with him... But as everyone else has stated... he is just a venue to purchase product and does not actually produce the resins, so anything like an R&R vacumecraft item you are actually dealing with theri quality...

I am the owner of the original art work that was painted by Jack Lynnwood for the box art of the Dodge Revellion model kit. With very few exceptions it is tha same as what was eventually seen as the box art. This is a full color print measuring approx. 11" X 17". I designed this car in the mid 60's. If requested, I will autograph the print. I am asking $10.00 ( with or without autogaph ). This price includes shipping and handeling. Turn-aound time will be about 10 days. You may contact me by PM here on MCM.

I hate that AFX has to treat customers the way they do. I was lucky that I bought mine when I did about 4 years ago. I still had to wait around 8 weeks but I finally got the body.
I may try the Bronco in resin myself. There is a 1/24 plastic toy which can make a very nise resin body if casted. In fact I would not be surprised if this started out from that plastic toy.
Thanks for the compliments.
Jake
It is my understanding that this bronco was originally cast by a company called Chezzcast or something like that... and Wendall Bootlegged off of it... It is also my understanding that you are correct that this started as a toy that was really a nice piece...

The body was casted by AFX Resin. It was originally a funny car body but it was the only one available at the time. Everything else was built or resin cast parts I casted.
The shocks are from a kit that I designed

I have been waiting 2 years for my AF/X Bronco... No hope anymore... last talked to Monica Which is Wendalls Wife she stated that she was shipping it... that was over a month ago and now I can't even get ahold of them...
As far as I am Concerned Wendall is no better than a crook... a cheap thief...
Your Bronco is VERY SCHWEET!!!!!
