  1. I'm getting back in the hobby after over 30 yrs out. SO much new I'm amazed. I've bought over 30 kits so far & haven't finished one yet. So many choices! I haven't worked w/resin as it wasn't around in the "old days". Found some conversion parts at Bandit resins. Would anyone recommend them? Comments appreciated.

They don't get any better than Kenny... I have several of his items... not to mention he is just flat good people...
  2. I have two Resin bodies by Jimmy Flintstone ('60 Nomad and '58 Chevy Sedan Delivery). I'm quite happy about them, well, could be better, there are some air bubbles and other little things to be corrected but really nice bodies anyway. I don't find a reason to fear Flintstone Resins, if all of their bodies are as nice as these two.

Then I have four AirTrax bodies, they all are GREAT quality. There is absolutely no air bubbles or anything, those bodies can be just sanded a bit, primered and painted. The quality is as good as with normal Polystyrene.

Of course these are just my thoughts, but...

I have been trying to order one of the 81 Dodge Miradas From air Trax but can't seem to find order info for them...

  3. Modelhaus is the leader in the industry, Bandit Resins is an excellent product with a good value, Replica & Miniatures is great product, Scenes Unlimited has EXCELLENT products and real fair pricing... Missing links is good but I have had some warping issues with their kits...

Perrys Resin is great profuct but getting it is a real challenge...

The worst out there is AF/X, Reliable Resins (known more for his Unreliable service and product, R&R's product is a real challenge to build but he has a great product line...

  4. I am in the process of making a replica of my 1:1 1967 Chevy C-20 pickup... I am in the process of taking an original AMT 1967 kit and converting it to a Small Back Window Custom Camper C-20... The 1:1 has the deluxe interior with a full bench seat so there will be alot of work go into this one... I am going to build it to start with using the kit Chassis but will over time scratch build a detailed chassis... Enjoy... Dan

  5. Wendall and his wife Monica are pure snakes... Their family is involved also... they move things around form family member to family member to keep people off their backs... Even if you have the product in your hands be careful it may not be real... I know at one time the Feds were looking at them because of interstate fraud... not sure if any of that is still going on or not but it should be.. They have stiffed alot of people and taken alot of money and never supplied the goods... They owe me personally about 200.00 or alot of product... So until they pay up I will do whatever I can to make people aware of what they are all about...

  6. The Modelhaus Resin 67/68 grille is as good if not better than the original AMT grille... I responded to your ad on the Wanted list for the cab but if you are wanting to do a 67/68 then I would look for a builtup on one of the auction sights... I have a built up 67 but it would be pricey to get it away from me... ;-)

  7. Yep Kenny At Bandit Resins is a top notch stand up guy.... I have several Bandit Resin bodies, parts and pieces and it is all Top quality... Makes you like to spend money with people like Kenny... a couple other notable people for top Quality and GREAT customer service like Kenny is Norm at Replicas and Miniature, Don and Carol Holthaus at The Modelhaus... ALL three of these companies are EXCELLENT to do business with and always delivers excellent products... I know there are others out there but These are three that I frequently spend alot of money with...
