  1. I also picked up the new GMC snow plow truck to use the bumpers and hood to match the 74.
  2. Back in 74 I bought a74 GMC Jimmy that had a lot of after market items installed on it. I don't have any pictures of it but I do remember what it looked like so that is what I'm working from and the old GMC brochure. My truck was blue with the wood grain on the sides and a white top. This is the kit that I'm starting with. It's a 77 or 78 so I've started by adding the side trim molding fixing the top to go up to the windshield and remove the door frames. I have also reworked the front grill.
  3. Alex some more execllent builds. You should start a new topic for each of your builds so we don't miss out on seeing them.
  4. Nice paint job on the Titan. Looking forward to see you post it when your finished.
  5. Model Master -MOPAR Sublime Green with Future for the clear coat on just the cab.
  6. Jason that was my first plan but then I saw this truck that was it.
  7. Welcome to the site and very nice looking Pete's you have there.
  8. Thanks for all the nice comments.
  9. I recently saw this truck on our beltway and already had the AMT Autocar dump truck kit and had won this bucket chassis on e-bay I think it may of come off a First Gear truck but it is a 1/25 th scale. I know that the current Center Point Energy trucks are white but they were green at one time. Im looking for some current Texas license plates to add to it. Your comments are always welcome.
  10. This topic on the 70's GM trucks has now got me building what my 74 Jimmy 1:1 was like. I only wish I could find some pictures of it. I've been able to pick up the Jimmy kit and the texture on the roof makes it easier to convert to the 74 model with the full removable roof. My 1:1 had many of the after market items that came in the kit . I've got the new released pickup coming to change out the bumpers and hood. I'm going to scratch build the front grill to the 74 with the 3 block outs.
  11. Tom nice build on the Ramcharger.
  12. Thanks for all the comments from everyone. Michael your friend is off to a very nice build on the Dodge and the Crackerbox looks nice. You should have the GMC posted here with some more pictures of it.
  13. JT another fantastic build here.
  14. Cesar, I knew that in time you would finish this beautiful Magnum with all the fine detail work you have put into this build. Seeing is like getting a Christmas present in its self. You and your family have a Merry Christmas.
  15. JT very nice tire truck as always nice detail.
  16. Dave I never got to meet Darell Porch.
  17. Chuck and Chris I'm with you it's the bullish affect that I like and it is a MOPAR. JT thanks for the comments don't know if you Remember meeting me last March at the model show in Missouri City you had your Ford dump truck on display. Dave this is a very good resin kit there was very little customization to make the fit up to the Titan doner. The resin is about the same thickness as what a plastic one would be.
  18. Very nice looking rig JT
  19. Dave nice work on both your Autocars they look very real. I'm currently working on one now that's going to be a Center Point Engery ......... Truck. Is there anything that I will need to look out for on the Autocar.
  20. The flooring I picked up on eBay it's wood flooring printed on contact paper. There is plywood on the sides as well
  21. Jim, yes I did use the L 700 as my doner for the CN 800 and it is a AITM resion kit. The L 700 was my first truck after starting to build again and I'm going to over haul it some time next year. The wheel is very sloppy on the spindle and of course the picture found it looking bent. By the way I posted the CN 800 back in June or July this year with my 62 MOPAR transporter.
  22. I need to build a create and tear down a Hemi to put into it. It's in my future plans to add.
  23. This is the Lindburg box trailer in the pup version with the Dodge CN 800 and L 700 cabs. The decals were scanned and printed. Comments welcome please enjoy.
