  6. Mike, Here is a sample of the MOPAR surf blue I sanded the paint on the right side before spraying on clear coat the sanded side looks just like my car paint.
  7. Mike my dodge dealer was able to order the surf blue (B5blue) spray paint for $11.00.
  8. Mike nice Super Bee's. I'm sure you don't see your color Super Bee very offen. I'm getting my 3rd Challenger kit together this time I ordered my paint from dodge and a photo edge kit.
  9. Really nice build on your Road Runner Mike. I've been following your build on this one glad to see it finished again it looks great.
  10. Kalvin if you are still looking for a color that make the Challenger pop I would go with the Deninator Yellow thet are the ones that stand out the most
  11. Kelvin, glad to see you back into building I to had a long gap in building to. This is a favorite car of mine to build I've done 2 so far and have my 3rd one waiting. Let me know if you need any 1:1 pictures for the details. What color are you going to use.

  14. Finished this was a challenge to build with the resin body and the mixed kits.
  15. Cliffo sent you a pm with some 1:1 pictures that may be use full in detailing the engine. The Challenger looks good in the is color. I will be following you on this build.
  16. Ron, I've just had some warranty stuff over the years. I used 3 grays on the interior MM light gray, airship gray and gun ship gray with black flocking on the floor. Here are some new updates from this weekends progress. I should have this finished this coming weekend if I don't run in to any more problems with it all fitting together.
  17. Ron I ail still have both of my 6.1's five years om now to.
  18. Ron, all the 300C, Magnum, Charger and Challenger SRT 8 s are 6.1 motors with 425 HP. For 2011 and 2012 they bumped it to a 6.4 liter with either 470 or 465 HP I can tell you that the SRT 8 Magnum 1:1 hauls butt. Even after 5 years of getting groceries
  19. Was able to find some time this past week to get some work done on the 300. Finished buffing out the body and added what little BMF there is and some black trim. Made a lot of progress on the interior paint and build. Also have the engine painted and built. Thanks for the comments. also did a trial fit up to see how the resin body accepts all the different parts.<br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/89ebf30a.png" /><br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/ffa0d47d.png" /><br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/0a4bc766.png" /><br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/36303516.png" /><br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/2c973a71.png" /><br /><img src="h<br /><img src="http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l274/Dan_Slade/Chrysler%20300%20Touring%20SRT8/fd1df251.png" />

  21. Some really nice models. I like the Fury pro stock the best. Your PT's look like some nice rides to.
  22. This is my first posting of a WIP and also my first resin build. To start with I've picked up the following kits to use for my build Jimmy Fintstone Magnum SRT 8 with a Chyrsler 300C front end. Over in Europe Chyrsler sold this car as the 300C Touring model and also offered it as a SRT8 option. My build will be in the SRT8 version. I also picker up a Revell SRT8 Magnum, SRT8 300C (1/24 scale) and the AMT Chyrsler 300C. So far I have cut the rear bumper from the SRT8 300 and resized it to fit the Magnum. to get the SRT 300C wheels I used the custom wheels in the Magnum kit . This is also my first time entering on a post with my iPad it has been a lot of trial and error to get it to work.
  23. This is a original Johan kit that built over a year ago but was before I stared using BMF on my builds. I was not happy with paint job either so I striped the old and resprayed with MM black with future clear coat and BMF. This is one of my favorite 300's. Your comments are always welcome.
  24. Charlie, Thanks for the web sites I have them booked marked now and will use them for my future builds. Yea Ken and they were in black and white too.
