2012 POST APOCALYPSE/ZOMBIE HUNTER COMMUNITY BUILD
h3ae86 replied to Dr. Cranky's topic in Community Builds
I'd like to join but the I'm having tons of trouble with my build because I don't know anything about scratch building and don't have any scratchbuilding supplies so all I can do is glue a couple kits together i guess. I have 2 planned the first, and definetly the toughest for me to do is a f-250 I'm calling The Rig, and the other is something I feel would stick out from the caravan, and Definetly out run it! but I'm waiting for that to come in the mail. I'll post pictures when I finally fell like I'm getting somewhere. -

Yeah, It's an s13 silvia coupe. Very nice work it reminds me of the cars I used to make on Need For Speed Underground 2. -
Hello I was just wondering if anyone knows where I could find these two kits and other kits like them for a reasonable price I already bought this kit but I found the body, chassis, front clip some other parts to be quite warped and when I was trying to fix the body it decided to curl up on it's self to where I couldn't save it and ended up throwing it out. I'm really disappointed because I was really looking forward to building it. I think these style race cars look just so awesome!

I got a 49 merc build comin up, and Icould use some inspiration.
-
I can't stop drooling. Did those wheels and tires come with the kit because I have a tamiya r32 and it just comes with the stock set up.
-
just got this kit, and I was really excited about it. Then I saw the wheels and tires. I was expecting to get what was on the box art but I was disappointed. the tires are 2 piece and the rims aren't deep enough for me. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a better set of rims and tires for this kit this is basically what I'm goning for in terms of wheel and tire set up.
-
yeah i saw that. problem is they're in kind of bad shape. Does anybody know where I can get a different set of tires for this preferably one piece tires, and maybe some deep dish rear wheels.

I used the standard rate usps priority mail.

Well thanks everyone. i just bought 3 kits from there, a revell Germany '72 porsche carrera rs, a tamiya r32 skyline I've been drooling over for months, and I found the re-released meyers manx kit on sale for about 5 bucks cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere. Now my question is how long does it usually take to get to your house. I live in Jersey Shore, PA

I was looking around and was wondering if anyone has ordered from there, and if they have good service. Also how long does it usually take to be delivered. I live in Jersey Shore, PA

I just bought one the other day at the local LHS. It seems like a pretty cool kit no problems from what I looked at. didn't look to thoroughly though. I'm just disappointed that the engine block is molded into the body and the transmission and oil pan molded into the chassis
-
Yeah s soon as I saw it on revell's site I knew I'd have to grab it when I saw it but I'm a little disappointed with it because the engine block is molded into the cab and the oil pan and transmission are molded into the chassis. But other than that and having to clean up some parts it seems like a really cool kit so far.

'83 Toyota Corolla Trueno GT-S (AE86) '73 Datsun Fairlady Z (s30z) Rauh Welt tuned Porsche 911 '68 or '69 Charger '70 Challenger r/t with 440 six pack (yes I know this is a T/A but I love that hood!) Plus I add more everyday -
I plan on doing a shop truck and would like to to try out a little weathering. I'm going for a daily driver look a truck that's used hard everyday but is well taken care of. just simple stuff I guess. What would I need, and how do I go about weathering?

I love It! where did you get the wheels from?

'41 chevy pickup pictures
h3ae86 replied to h3ae86's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Well, I shouldn't have said nothing interested me because I'd be lying I suppose. I just didn't find anything that I could pull off with my skill. -
