There should be a couple holes in the chassis crossmember for the rear shocks to mount to. The axle end mounts to the inside of the tabs on the axle tube.
The front shocks mount to the outside of the trailing arms.

Well, I know where I'm spend my Birthday Money! Thanks, Jim. What is that transmission/ X-Fer case for? Jeep or Bronco?
That transmission & TC represent a SM-465 granny 4-speed & 205 Transfer case. Usually found in GM pickups, blazers, etc.

Great job on this one. Really like how it turned out.

Another cool build! I have a few of the Comet Pro Stock kits including a Fast Eddie. Always loved these kits!

I'm missing the big ATCA show that was at the Bolton Fairground in lovely Lancaster, Massachusetts (central part of the state) until a couple of years ago. I've been unable to find any info regarding the status of the show, no discussions anywhere. For a decade or so it used to be held at the field behind the Elks club in Hudson, MA. For several years there it was sponsored by ATHS, then ATCA. Why the show swapped sponsors I've never heard either.
Brian, I see that the ATHS had a 15th annual show in Deerfield,Mass. in May. Could this be the same show with a new location?

Nice fabricating on this wild 904 ! I built the 1/32 scale version 904 in 1969 at age 5. Still have it. Love what you did with this one.. Thanks for sharing the build.
Happy belated Birthday!

This funky '62 Corvair emerged from its week-long Purple Swim today and you would NOT BELIEVE what was hiding under all that 55 year-old hand-brushed Testor PLA red paint and Testor (or AMT) putty!
Rust?

Love it! That car has the look!

Digging the look of both your cars Snake. Might have to get myself a Riviera kit to build. Are the wheels on yours from the kit or?

I just learned the other day that the '66 and up Falcons were based on shortened Fairlane chassis, not the Mustang platform.
I guess that makes sense. The '66-'67 Fairlane (and Comet) 2 door sedans seem to have had the same roof as the Falcon 2 door. (Dunno if this is also true of 4-door, I haven't checked.)
Well, I just did a Google search & you are correct. I can't see a huge difference in the 2 chassis. We know the Mustang stuff fits well under the Falcon
thanks to AFX's build. I am sticking with what I have.

Picked up a 1/24 66 Mustang a while back. Going to use the chassis under a 66 Falcon.

Coming along quite nicely. Been working on my 66 a little. Got one rear wheel opening almost back to stock. Gotta do the other.
Also need to get a mustang kit for the chassis.

Help ID'ing Ford Falcon model

I am looking for some info on this old Falcon junker I got years ago in a big parts lot.
It is molded in white plastic like a regular model kit. Is not the funky plastic some promos are made of.
Can't seem to figure out the year it represents. 60,61,62,63? Seats seem to be a different pattern from any others I have seen.
Thanks for any help.
