  1. OK, does anybody know if rubbing alcahol will remove Tamyia paint? I screwed up the paint job by shooting enamel over laquer. Not very pretty.
  2. Nope, air cleaner was took from '70 Challenger with the same decal from the '70 Challenger
  3. Killer paint scheme idea Rom! What's chillining on that mill of yours?
  4. Go for it! Scale-Master, that is freakin' sweet! I want one, I want one!
  5. I used Ken's Fuzzy Fur for this one.
  6. I flocked and detailed the interior with my new silver sharpies. Enjoy!
  7. Ok, first off, school work is so boring. Second off, I got finished with the school work so I sat down and did a few small things to the 'bird. I managed to snap this pic of the mold lines before I romoved them and painted the body. I drilled out the distributer. (My first time doing this.) Here the distributer is in place and wired up. I did not like the look of the plated carbs so I stripped them and painted them gold. I started detailing the Rallye rims sourced from another member here. Stay tuned for the next post!

    67 GTX

That is FREAKIN sweet! Awsome Mopar!
  9. Does it take of the tamiya paint?
  10. Can't. Parent's don't have credit cards. Wish they did..
  11. I painted the body with Tamiya Laquer TS-10 French Blue. Tamiya polishing cremes are not availible in my area for some odd reason.
  12. Well it seems I can't continue the engine until I get my parts from JB Hobbies (I am pissed, it's been 4 1/2 weeks) And I can't continue the body until I can figure out how to remove the sticky stuff my masking tape left. (Any help?) I'm ticked.
  13. Lookin good! (No emotioncon's were harmed in the making of this post.......)
  14. You wanna get rid of that GTX? I have been looking for one.
  15. You wanna get rid of that GTX? I have been looking for one. You wanna get rid of that GTX? I have been looking for one.
  16. I reliezed that after I did a test fit. No to worry as I have a pully set coming from JB Hobbies (Whenever the darn things get here, it's been 4 weeks..) Along with a oil filter and some other goodies. A PS Pump and altenator will be sourced from a Revell '69 Charger
  17. I bought this kit at Hobby Central in the Cordova Mall on 9th Ave. I visited Bobe's and bought some paints there as well as the Hobbytown USA.
  18. Here is my latest project. Revell's 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Hang on as I walk you thought the pros and cons of this kit. The box art: My paint is Tamiya French Blue (TS-10) Partial engine assembly has begun: Enjoy!
  19. The vinyl top is present: The parts trees: Stay tuned! Enjoy the build!
  20. The glass tree: The body is cleanly molded with a few mold lines which will be covered in the build thread: The chassis is good: Stay tuned for more!
  21. I bought this during my trip to Pensacola, FL and I thought I would do a review on it. The build thread can be found here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47034 It's simple, although it has some nice detail and can be built into a good looking model with some parts swapping which will be done in the build thread. So follow along as I build the newest muscle car in the lineup from Revell. (These pictures were took at 8:30 PM at the hotel) Here is the main componets: The instructions are simple and easy to follow: The decal sheet is good except for THE COMPLETE LACK OF THE ROADRUNNER GRAPHICS! It includes some basic graphics to make a simple race car but no racing parts. Looks like Keith Marks decals will be needed. Ahhh, at least we have choice of side graphics: The tires are generic, no-name tires: Stay tuned for the next post!
  22. I got mine on my trip to Pensacola, FL. Review going up in a few
  23. Does anybody know how much his decals are? I might have to buy a set.
  24. Darn! I'm dissapointed.. Was it my lack of spark plug wire? Or was it the lack of paint on the sides of the chassis, either way i'm still ticked
