Nice work....but I believe this is a 56 F100................. -
Finally finished one this summer. Lots of mods including, side ground effects, side pipes, front air dam (kinda hard to see), flocked interior, heater hoses, radiator hose, plug wires, brake line, lowered stance and lots of BMF. Paint is MM black lacquer and One Coat Graphite Dust with two coats of Wet Look clear. A few gliches along the way, but overall I'm satisfied with the results. Hope ya like it! Wonderful! I too love a ford galaxie. I wish someone would reissue this kit as it is one of the best looking fords made. Great job, the paint and foil are perfect as usual!
-
Awesome! Great custom work on one of my favorite subjects.....Love a 37
-
Really looks good. I especially like the side shot, it has a perfect stance. I built a 5 window using the same idea. Its posted here in the archives. Great job and great color!
-
Great Job!!! The color fits perfectly. I think this will be my next project. Probably a slammed mild custom.............
-
Awesome! Every so often someone comes along to remind me how old I'm getting. This is just like the hot rods of my youth. Love the color and the quality of the build.

@ Danny and Tommy.................Thanks for the great pic's. It was a good show as always. BTW, I had the purple and white 41 chevy p/u with the midget racer and the blue and silver (with flames) ford NASCAR custom conversion p/u. Thanks again!

Just thought I would share some pic's of a build I completed a couple of years ago........Hope you enjoy!

Mike.....Yes I did....Also had a 41 chevy towing a midget race car. The 41 won 1st place. The 41 is also shown here............Thanks for noticing! -
John.....Yes, I spent a lot of time "tucking" the bumper and the splash pan in correctly. Thanks for noticing.......
-
Great build....I just started mine. I think I will go with a dark maroon color. These cars look great in any color. Good Job!

This is one of my older builds. It features wired and plumbed engine compartment, lowered stance, and hand bent aluminum tube exhaust. Paint is Testors One Coat Inca Gold and MM Honduras Maroon with Wet Look Clear. This one took me to school on the BMF. Hope you like it!

41 Chevy Tow Vehicle

I built the midget a couple years ago and needed something that matched the era of this style midget racer. I think the 41 looks perfect for the job. Lots of custom work on the truck. Shaved drip rails, removed door hinges, pancaked hood, removed turn signals, made diamond plate bed floor and scratch built toolbox. Interior has rolled and pleated headliner and seat and scratch built door panels. Paint is MM Classic White and Testors One Coat Purplelicious Lacquer..................................Enjoy! -
Glenn.....Actually the chrome is a dull finish from the box. I liked that too!
-
Exactly Chuck.....,I removed the "stars" on the C post, all the badges, and the "gunsights". I prefered a smooth look. Thanks for noticing.................

This was a quick OOB build. I had originally thought about making it a street rod as the "29" is one of my favorite subjects for rodding. But, after attenpting to lower the suspension I quickly realized my best option was to go all stock. This is an old AMT/pos kit. Very poor molds, lots of flashing, and all parts had to be sanded, filed, and fitted before assembly. All in all it's not too bad. I am pleased with the results and I hope you all enjoy.

I built this a while back and am just getting arounf to posting it. It's built OOB. The paint scheme is my own and the decals are all from the "spares" box. Enjoy!

Here is my version of a 60 Starliner. Pretty much out of the box. Detailed the engine bay with wires, and plumbing. Lowered the stance and added lots of BMF. The paint is MM Turquoise enamel and MM Classic White lacquer. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy!

F-150 Custom NASCAR Conversion

Thanks for the kind words....It took a while to complete, but I had a lot of fun along the way!!!! -
I just finished one myself, turquoise and white. Some fit issues, namely the hood. I think the distributor is to tall to allow the the hood to close all the way down. Overall its a good kit. Your BMF looks great. This one will take you to school if you are not experienced at BMF. Looks good, I like it a lot.

Cool....A very different approach to a classic...I'm sure it will look great...by the way it was good to see you again at the Cookeville show.
