  1. Sweet! I love that Nissan, It's lookin very pretty! It seems there aren't many group C's on the forum so it's nice to see. I agree with Scuderia, although the 787B is my favorite
  2. Same here, one got away from me that was 29$ about a month ago.. I got these four kits for 42CAD$ shipped, comes out to 10.50$ each but I see it as getting the 510 for a decent price and three free kits!
  3. I've been after a Revell 510 for awhile and found one in a bundle on ebay last week. I wasn't really into any of the three other kits but the price was right and being the only bidder, I won and finally have one! They have arrived today, in less than a week
  4. After seeing these pics I figured I'd post them here Pretty sweet!
  5. I believe Seb was the guy who bought SAS, and he did have someTRD and Veilside pieces at one point. I saw them in person at ``Le Hobby Shop`` here in Quebec, along with some other bodykits. The last time I was there was about six years ago just before I took a break from the hobby. Since I`ve started building again I tried to go back to his shop but it was no longer there, nor does he seem to be reachable online..
  6. I would definitely love to add this one to the inventory, right after Donn Yost's DVDs!
  7. I sometimes have the same types of problems on Ebay. I've been after a Tamiya Mazda 787b for a few months and they rarely pop on at a decent price, and one finally has. Actually 3 of them have but two of them have already sky rocketed beyond what I am willing to pay. The seller has it listed as ships to United states, but states to email him for a shipping quote to another country. Which I had done on the first day it was put up for auction, also requesting an estimation for combined shipping as I was interested in other items he has as well. After a week of waiting, and now only one day left for the auction, he rudely replies last night; "No thanks!" In my passed experiences, this usually leads to the seller offering me a ridiculous shipping charge after I've won the item. Perfect example; About a month ago during the christmas rush, my girlfriend had found a shirt she liked on Evilbay that was listed to be shipped to United states. It was listed for a short 3 day auction with no reserve. On the last day with no response from the seller for a shipping quote, I bid and won it for 4 dollars. I knew I was taking a chance by bidding on that item in the first place with the shipping being a mystery. The ball was in her court so to speak. But is was a cotton shirt i was bidding on, "How much could shipping really be on an item like this?" I asked myself.. Immediately after winning the auction, the seller messages something to the effect that it is too late tonight to get a quote from the post office and she will first thing in the morning. So we go to sleep and wake up in the morning to another message from her stating that the shipping will be 25 dollars, no options of this or that.. Somewhat bewildered by her message I ask her if there is a mistake as one cotton tank top could not be 25 dollars to ship. Which she replies that this is the price given by her shipping calculator, still no options of what type of shipping, tracking, etc,.. To be honest, that is similar to what it costs to have two or three kits shipped to me from Hobby Search in Japan. Anyway I reply to her once again stating that I'm no longer interested in buying the item and it is too bad we couldn't do business. I also suggested that she set a reserve if she was looking to make certain amount off an item rather than sneak profit through the shipping charges. This apparently made her angry and she wrote back a crazy message and at one point stated that she isn't on Ebay to make money/profit... What a laugh! Don't get me wrong, I don't believe that all sellers who don't offer international as an option are like this. Just unfortunately my few run ins with them always turn out cruddy. I'm not cheap and opt to have my items shipped priority with a tracking number to avoid problems, but I will not intentionally let someone make a dollar off me when screwing me over. Terrible practice of business!
  8. Got a small package from Dennis at Model Express today.. Probally gonna do a Scarab conversion with the Z, maybe Ls1
  9. Doesn't Hasegawa make a '71 Miura in 1\24.. As well as Fujimi in various scales?
  10. They are too cool. Kinda like a mini desktop Cnc machine but for plastic! I've found a more affordable models, meant for domestic use I believe... called Makerbots. I imagine they are quite complicated to operate and the plastic must be expensive!
  11. I'm not sure if I'm missing something in this video but how is this a printer?
  12. 1.Saleen S7 2.Ferrari FF 3.Acura 1.6EL 4.'96-00 4 Door Civic 5.'91 Civic EF
  13. I Bought this Trek off my older brother and fell in love with biking again. I used it every second day to bike to work in town which is 28 kilometers away. Over a few weeks during the summer I lost 19 pounds thanks to this rocket! It has carbon, titanium and aluminum goodies everywhere, the whole bike weighs in at 25 lbs!!
  14. Agreed! Exactly like this, it reminds me of the one in the film "The family man" with Nicolas Cage. Its definitely one of my favorite Ferraris made. Very beautiful build!
  15. I thought the orange Lambo pick-up wasn't all that bad! The front end and the color kinda remind me of a Volvo big rig,.. Maybe lowering the pick-up section a little more into the Lambo and smoothing out the lines and proportion, it could look great!
  16. I'm building this one as a mild street\strip all motor civic. Pretty well out of the box with a few goodies as time progresses like ITBs and I want to scratch build some Password JDM accessories. I was looking at Alex's tutorials on this site http://www.italianho...s/tutorials.htm and have ordered some evergreen rod stock to attempt making my own shock setups. Here's a few pics since I've started the paint.
  17. Here is one of my projects that I have going at the moment. I don't get as much time devoted to them as I'd like but they are progressing, slowly but surely... Im trying to replicate a civic I had seen in Modified Magazine a few years back that was built by Full-Race. It was gloss black with carbon hood and fenders, sw388 styled rims and a turbo'd LS vtec tuned by Evans.. Sleeved to 2.0L, It had 1000cc injectors, a modified throttle body from a Mustang 5.0L and was boosted at something crazy like 38lbs... I'd like to source a resin turbo, I read Shucky makes some nice ones but folks weren't sure if he still is. Also I'd like to make an exhaust manifold styled after full-race out of some solder, and buy some SMS carbon decals for the front end... The front bumper I made out of half of one supplied with this kit and the front spoiler/lip from the revell integra kit. I only have the first coat of putty on so far, roughing out the general shape :3 This is the car i'm styling it after; http://www.full-race.com/images/gallery/geoff/images/034.jpg
  18. Thats sick! I want to airbrush nail polish as well... Do you have any tips?
  19. I have seen a few rat rods previously on this forum, although well built and detail was second to none, I have never really been crazy about them or that style.. I have to admit that many of the subjects Ive seen in this post have completely changed my mind and got me drooling! Not to be dismissive of many of the greats builds posted here, but the "little deuce" 32 ford is insane!! Amazing work guys!
  20. My buddy is going to see 'em tonight in Montreal!
  21. What a steal for sure!! Great lookin truck dude, how many miles does that sbc have on it?
  22. I haven't really heard of anyone talking about this yet... I really love how the body lines are Bmw M coupeish and the front end styled like the 458! Also being the first four wheel drive product Ferrari has produced.. So different on many levels.
  23. Thats sucks for sure.. I only know of one place at the moment to get the hatchback but I dont think it is trustworthy nor worth his asking price. I do however, know where to get the ferio! There are currently 3 available in Italy where i bought mine. :3
  24. What a beautiful car! The ideas that come to mind just looking at it.. Imagining who would be riding around in that pre-world war 2. Such a gem, and to think it will be 75 years old next year... Craziness. I can't really believe anyone would even think of cutting it up in any fashion
  25. Thanks for the replies guys! I couldn't believe I found it until it arrived in my hands. I thought I had been scammed for a little while Yes! Now on to phase 2; Getting these bad boys completed and on some kind of display! It really is good for the nerves. The first day I started building again, I spent six hours on my Subaru without a smoking a cigarette nor a craving. Best of all is how it puts the mind at ease
