  1. Hi Greg - Thanks... The front bumper was a major pain. It didn't want to stay on. I agree, it should be a little bit turned up. The front bumper on the real car is turned down, but mine is a bit too turned down. On the door handles, It was a last minute decision and I went with the shaved look. The build from the start was going to be a RestoMod and not 100% stock. I kept everything pretty much stock with the exception of the color combo and shaved look.
  2. It does have spark plug wires. On this engine they run from the back to the side of the engine. A friend has a 55 Chevy and the spark plug wires run from back to the side of the engine. On this view you won't see it. So, if anyone builds this engine and show the spark plug wires going over the valve covers, they are doing it wrong and it' not accurate. Here's a picture of one I've found online. Colors - Testor's Glosss Black, Testor's Transparent Candy Apple Red, Testor's Flat rRd (interior), Tamiya Flat Black (interior), Testor's Bright Silver as the first base color.
  3. That's an AWESOME looking Cruiser. I bought one myself to build. Hopefully soon. Love all the detail you placed on this kit. Great job!!!
  4. Finally finished this build. Took a bit longer then usual. Model Kit: Revell Kit # 4269 Model Box
  5. My little Rat Rod won first place in my Local Car Model Club this past week. I was very surprised and honored. The members in my club are very talented and do awesome builds so winning first places lets me know that I'm getting better on my builds. Here's the trophy.
  6. Another AWESOME looking Nova... By the way, what mfr color black you used for the interior?

  12. Beautiful builds. They all look great!!
  13. Really cool looking build.
  14. LOVE the Mustang. It came out looking really awesome. The Charger is pretty good as well. For a kit that sucks, she did a nice job on it. Tell her to keep up the great works. =^.^=
  15. Awesome job on that 57!! Good luck on the NNL.
  16. While I'm waiting on the decals for the 1969 ZL-1, I'm doing something I rarely do; start working on my next project. I'm naming this one "The Scarlet Chevy Project" Building a 1955 Chevy Bel Air Convertible... RestoMod style. Here's a picture of the 1955 Chevy that inspired me to build this model kit. It's not going to be 100% like this car. I'm just doing the paint job like this car. I'm mostly keeping the engine and most of the car stock. I'll post pictures to show where I'm at on this build soon.
  17. looking great!!! Can't wait to see the finished product.
  18. Here's an Update: ENGINE DONE FIREWALL COMPLETED GRILLE DONE RADIATOR DONE WHEELS DONE Had to put a hold on building the kit as I'm still waiting on the decals from Keith Mark's Decals. More to come...
  19. That's a beautiful build Chris. LOVE the details you put into this build. I also have this kit and the Lusitania as well. I haven't build them yet. Mainly because I don't really have room to display them. Again, CONGRATS on this awesome build Chris.
  20. Here's another modern German Anti-Aircraft Cannon Tank. Fun kit to build. Model Kit: Tamiya Kit # 35099 Scale: 1:35 Model Box
  21. Thank you Bill - This is awesome information. By the way, Is there a site that I could see pictures of these engines (250, 307, 327, 396, and the big boy 427) as they would of looked when the factory installed them into the cars? Thanks Felix
  22. Bill - I noticed your signature says that you are a ASE Certified Master Mechanic. I have one last question on the 69 Camaro's - Which engine size where standard (stock) on the following model Styles: SS, Z-28, RS. I believe on all the COPO's, Yenko's and Baldwin Motion's it was the 427. Did any of the other models had this Factory option? I'm going to build a 69 Camaro SS and just wanted to build it accurately. Thanks Felix
