  1. Thanks guys! Len, great looking build. I might have to go with paint like you and Jeff advised. jasoncamaro, Len's right but I think I will leave it to mocking up models Charlie Pro Tech
  2. This is a Polar Lights Mustang funny car kit that I hope to make into the Blue Max car (as long as the decals lay down over that front hood bulge? If anyone has built this with the white decal stripe for the hood I would love to hear how it went, please respond) I have this in the white glue/mock-up stage now after working out thing like wheelbase adjustment for the Mustang body to get the front wheels somewhat centered in the wheel wells, added sheet plastic to the tin work above the injector hat so it will mate up to back of windshield. etc. etc. Now it’s time to soak this in the warm bucket of water to break it all down and start building the real thing. Thanks for looking! Charlie Pro Tech

  5. Was wondering if anyone here has come across something that can be used for a gas caps for moon tanks etc. that are on funny cars, gassers etc. the kit pieces are not usually the best looking piece of the kit. I've used photoetched in the past but looking for something with more demension/thickness to it. Thanks to any and all leads. Charlie Pro Tech

  10. I'm in need of some good/accurate reference (old mags ?) of how early funny cars (late 60's - early 70's) ran water lines from their water tanks that usually looked like a second fuel tank. Did they use mechanical pumps, electric pumps etc. Thanks for all you can provide. Charlie Pro Tech

  21. Thanks Guys! it's been a fun (but slooow) build so far. gbk1, the engine is the kit engine with the addition of a (reworked) Parts by Parks intake with injectors from Speed City Resin. I also revised oil filter mount, reworked fuel pump, and scratcbuilt a harmonic balancer. Pro Tech parts used were magneto, plug boots, plug wire for injector lines with my smallest size hex fittings for the fittings and my rubber fuel line for the main fuel feed off the pump. Also added some bolt heads to the front of the pump and front timing cover for further detail. Thanks for your support of my products Charlie Pro Tech
  22. Thanks Val! Here's the latest with plumbing, wiring and weathering done. Later, Charlie Pro Tech

  24. Here's the latest. Tried to replicate shop rags wrapped with duck tape on the breathers as some were run back in the day. Thanks for looking! gbk 1 - parts of mine that were used on the injector set-up are the hex fittings and black spark plug wire. Charlie Pro Tech
  25. Here's something I started awhile back. Started life as the Ramchargers kit that will be built into a early gas dragster with alot of revisions. Thanks for looking! Charlie Pro Tech
