  1. Your '55 turned out incredible! The detail you put into it is really amazing. I, too, am curious how you did at the contest. She looks super, Ed.! I'm curious, what did you use for roll bar padding?
  2. I couldn't tell what thickness your existing tabs are, but that's so close it won't make any difference... Sounds like a great plan!
  3. Your tutorial is excellent Chris! Thanks a bunch. That's a great way to incorporate more realism by adding the colored thread into the wiring scheme.
  4. Your new mounts look great, Chris. It would seem that there are two or three questions that will determine your decision as to whether or not do them in brass: 1) will the plate be more in scale if it is (~.016" thick if 1/4" in 1:1); 2) if done in brass, what does that do to affect the scale of your motor mounts as compared to all the plates you've made, which I'm sure is .016"; 3) how much work will it be to have brass ones turn as out as nicely as your styrene ones? Whatever you choose to do, I know it'll be the right choice.
  5. Thanks, bud... Have a good one!
  6. Hey Chris, Will belt material fit through the slots, or have you had a chance to try them out in the past, yet? When you have a chance, can you measure to see how thick they are? Thanks!
  7. What are your rotors made out of Dave? And are the Lamb logos in the calipers and hubs decals or machined? I'm guessing decals but could very well be wrong. I'm impressed, yet again, by your work. Amazing...
  8. Come on! Get on the stick, bud! We're all waiting on you to get back on this project!!! LOL We're waiting...........................
  9. That's really sharp looking, Tyrone. Super nice, as yours always are. I have to admit, though, after seeing your '57, it seems a bit strange seeing a Revell pan under this one... LOL
  10. Fantastic work, Clay. It's always a blast to see your updates...
  11. You've done a wonderful job on your build, Stefan, and, as Harry P. said, your English is much better than that of many of us here in the States. Very, very nice!
  12. That's beautiful Fred! You've done a great job on the Glidden car, just like you have with A.J.'s
  13. Something else to keep in mind is if you go after the GT500 Mustang, if you've got any local Hobby Lobby stores, you can often print out a 40% off coupon and drastically cut the cost of the kit.
  14. Super job on the oil pump, Chris. Isn't Dave amazing? He's been helping me out sending pics and drawings of things for PE development. I just love all the details you've added to not only your OP but every cubic millimeter of your Army car... woohooo!
  15. That looks super, Joe. I'm impressed with your headers and this latest phase of your project. If I were you, I'd be very, very happy with how things are turning out so far...
  16. I went back and reread your opening paragraph. I don't know how much of a rush you're in to totally finish this build, but I am working on a Zephyr PE grille insert if you have any interest in it...
  17. That looks fantastic Fred! I think A.J. would be proud of the figure you've made of him... I'll look forward to more updates.
  18. Super job on your build, Louie. You could have fooled me with it being your first pro stocker! Very, very nice!!!
  19. It's looking really great Tyrone. Congrats on your son's graduating from HS, too!
  20. No words to describe how I'm feeling now... Okay... Blown away. If you matched that pic up against a 1:1 engine, I'd half the people would say yours is the real one and the 1:1 was the model!
  21. Thanks, guys, for all of the suggestions. I agree completely, Jim is a great guy. I've worked with him in the past and will again in the future.
  22. That's a good suggestion Casey. Unfortunately, unless Charlie's hiding something from me, I didn't see any NO2 items shown in his larger scale stuff. LOL
