  3. Yes another scratch builder here I got a 58 Chevy apache 4x4 and its a 1/2 ton. I tried to replicate a 1:1 scale truck as best as I could.
  4. Well another vw this build is almost box stock .I changed the rims and and made a custom exhaust which were used on these buggys back in the 70's .
  5. Well got this build done its a 71 Duster its built as box stock .I painted it a factory color and interior is a factory color too.

  13. Hey guys I think I may have a good and or bad problem with buying too many kits. I was offered a deal I can't refuse by a good friend in the model retail end and a hobby shop near my location is going out of business. So the deal is 350 new kits plus my choice of a near full testors or humbrol paint rack for a huge total of $0,000.00 .. Can't give you guys a total yet ha.So need some advice guys buy or leave it?
  14. Well back on the scratch building wagon. Here I have 2 builds with moderate scratch building .I took a 57 chevy wagon and sedan and converted them into oldsmobiles .Both models are of real cars right down to paint and hubcaps .
  15. Ah nothing like having you own model kit store. I'm at roughly 200 unbuilt and I'll be adding another 200 plus kits this fall. I think having a huge stash makes us builders happy.
  16. Well I mostly testors orange tube glue,testors liquid cement and tamyia extra thin .They work for me

  19. Well finely got this Autocar truck and trailer finished.The truck is stock with just a single rear axle and painted a factory color well close too anyway. The trailer is all scratch built and is based on a real trailer that I seen a picture of online.
  20. Hi there well the build you have there looks perfect so far.But did you know in the old days guys shorten the vw bug pan? If you need so advise on building a fibre glass buggy body or any thing related feel free to message me.

  22. Well another heavy scratch building project this one is a 1957 Olds super 88 wagon. Its started out as a 57 chevy nomad.This build will be a factory sock Olds.
  23. Hi everyone well building my second Autocar truck these rigs are a thing of beauty.Well what I have is dc9964b with single rear axle and built as a stock rig.The trailer is mostly scratch built and also is based on a real 1:1 scale trailer.I'll have more pictures soon. Trailer
