  5. Well here is my 1951 Chevy sedan delivery. Its built some what stock with faded factory paint. The body isn't perfect and neither were the cars coming off the assembly line in the 50's. The frame was modified for bigger tires and the engine is a 60's big block 396 ci that is mated to a transmission that may of been used on 50's Chevy vehicles.
  6. Here is my finished 75 chevy 2 ton tow truck
  7. Here I have built 1975 Chevy 2 ton tow truck.I scratch built the commercial front end of the truck with wider fenders and made the proper grille for the model of truck. The truck is based on a real 1:1 scale truck. The frame and tow deck was stretched and a few other details were added to the build .Here are some pictures and the rest will be in the under glass section.
  8. I sure like all the detail your putting into this build. All I can say is wow.

  10. Well another partly scratch build coming your way guys. Here I have what use to be a 51 chevy bel -air and now I'm building it as a sedan delivery. The body has stayed the same original length as I'm building this as a 2 dr. The interior will also have to be modified to.The frame has been some what modified in the rear to receive wider tires and still remain stock ride height. For drivetrain well I'm undecided at the moment .Here are some pics.
  11. Hey dude that is a wonderful suspension mod .Thanks for showing it
  12. Hi there just curious if the exhaust has clearance issues?
  13. Well I think I found my bias tire source finely or hope so. I found that the revel tow truck has similar bias ply looking tires . So if any of you are doing a factory original pickup truck build that are pre 1980's then these tires are for you. The tires are of a 16 inch rim style too. Any ideas on this are welcome.
  14. Oh that's a piece of cake to build. I suggest you take a look at some pictures on google images and go from there and scratch build it yourself.
  15. Well here I have finely got this project done and its a late 1950's vehicle hauler. The cars, trucks and trailer are based on a real vehicles that I seen a picture of online. The models used are 56 ford that I converted to a coe and stretch the frame out to scale. The deck on the coe is scratch built and on the truck it has (2) 57 Ford sedan 4 doors .The trailer was also scratch built and has (4) 56 Ford trucks .
  16. Hi guys well another truck for the shelf here I have scratch built a late 50's vehicle hauller its based on a real truck and trailer.First off here are some pictures of the build before paint.

  19. So did Pontiac use a corvette body originally or was that Pontiac's own design for the body?
  20. I too always have the radio on when building helps to relax me and I do build better in general. I listen to music or news also have a speaker in 3 of my building rooms.
  21. Hey guys just a simple question can testors dullcote be brushed or is it better to spray it? My reason for asking this is because I bought a bottle of dullcote at a local hobby shop and thought it might be cheaper and easier to handle in stead of using the spray can.
  22. Hey guys I was wondering what most of you use for cutting styrene ? Like for example do you use hand tools or electric tools?
