  1. You did indeed get it correct. Again, correct, no bias.
  2. Sheesh, I guess you missed the gigantic picture I posted. The "Comment deleted" was a quote from you. What, exactly, is this "poke the can" you're talking about? And, I'm not sure, but I think the propellant is Co2, which obviously is what we breathe out. Have you ever tried getting paint out of a can without a straw? I had a little metal cup. As soon as there was paint at the bottom, it was all shooting out. It was a failed attempt at getting paint out of the can WITHOUT a straw.
  3. This. Now, if you had a choice of a completely dead forum, or an active one, which would you chose? That's what I thought...
  4. Well, to give you what could be a very long answer into a brief summary... You can use just about anything for spark plug wire. Just DON'T use thread, it looks tacky. For plug boots, you could use insulation off a bigger wire. Fuel lines, small metal rod. Here's a site I highly recommend for detailing: http://www.straightlinemodeler.org/tips.htm
  5. Just let Virgil have his fun, geez! If he's not your most favorite person then that's fine, just don't INTENTIONALLY try to ruin his threads.
  6. Andy, next time such a thing happens, please get your folks to look into it. Sometimes washing your eyes out with a bit of water will help. Come on, buddy, learn NOT TO take chances and risks with your health! It's the smart thing to do. First thing I did was rinse it out. I was using a Windex bottle for spraying my thinner, when I was squirting it, it moved out of place a bit and got in my eye. Maybe next time I should wear glasses Comment Deleted* That might need to be checked out if it didn't hurt. Yeah, I'm not blind now so I'd say I'm alright.
  7. Haha, yesterday I squirted thinner in my right eye. Didn't even hurt
  8. My sister, she comes running upstairs with a dumb look on hr face and intentionally tries to make me mad.
  9. Cool, will be watching.
  10. Right here. http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutorials/tutorial/3 Ironically enough, I had the same problem yesterday.
  11. Well, it depends. I first started out using Enamel Latex (my dad said I should use it, but I said the latex wouldn't work with the thinner, sure enough it didn't ), but then when I thinned some Model Master enamel it was fine. I just need to get like some really small measuring spoons or something..
  12. NEW TOPIC RULE: You must say who the chicks are.
  13. In the one pic you can see the ugly glue fingerprint I left... Plan on doing just a LITTLE more dash detail. Just a little. Or a lot.
  14. Thank everyone Well I did some painting, had some problems at first but I got them sorted. Any tips on how to make mixing it easier?
  15. Thanks Robert! I also did some wiring on the dash, no pics yet, still need some more wires.
  16. Never knew it was that serious. Thanks everyone, will have to find the respirator..
  17. LOL Austin, yeah, Harbor Freight is definitely a fun place.
  18. I never use my respirator anyway.
  19. Yeah, it's got that little button on the bottom for letting all the collected "juices" out Our air compressor has this deal where it puts a tiny bit of oil in the air, so I needed a really good trap. So, I'm gonna do some painting after work tomorrow. I'll try to post pics
  20. Today we stopped at Harbor Freight for the regulator I needed for my airbrush... It's so hard to go in there and not blow $1000.... But everything on my cutting mat is what I got for $27.
  21. Ditto. I like building classic muscle-I like the simplicity and mechanical mechanisms of classic cars.
  22. Very cool, I've always wanted to drill out a carb. Gotta love QuadraJunks!
  23. LOL Niko, it's Purple Power (on this site it's known as Purple Pond).
