Thanks Liam! Nope, the funnel caps are Metalizer, with some thinned acrylic black paint on them. I plan on doing more work to them to get them juuuuuuuuuust right....

Ah man I was going to use the kit blower, but it didn't seem to fit. I think I've got a few in the parts box. It's okay though; the tunnel ram did look a bit out of scale when put in the car

Sorry for going MIA for a while. The engine on the '55 I REALLY wanted to use the magneto, but it just wouldn't fit under the tunnel ram properly. Guess I'll have to use a distributor then...

Engine is almost finished, granted I still have to do detailing and all but it's getting there. Did some light weathering as well Couple of questions: Is that black pump on the left hand side for fuel, or oil? And how exactly were the fuel lines on this car, and where was that fuel tank? Thanks for looking.

Andy, i went back looking for the thread where i'd remembered you doing a little "ranting". these are your words that i've copied to this thread from that other one. "I just can't finish a build! I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I paint all my parts, and assemble them as I go. Then after getting mad and boxing it, I only come back to find the same problem. I also lose my temper very easily so I'm sure that doesn't help." based off of those two statements i get the strong impression that you are undoubtedlty a part of that "instant gratification" generation that wants what you want like yesterday. i can remember a point in time too when you built at least two models that turned out pretty nice for someone your age, then nothing but hot air from you since. you and another young member here recently both got the same kit, he's finished his and quite nicely at that, where are you with yours? A LOT less talk and A LOT more action is what i'd like to see out of you. put your money where your mouth is and build something Ummmm??? What does that have to do with ANYTHING? And I'm not part of that "instant gratification" thing. And thank you for the compliment in there. I still do building, but none seem to get finished. And I saw that Liam finished his. Looks very nice to say the least. Mine, I've got the engine about done, just haven't gotten around to taking more pictures. And I also need paint; since I can't order it, I have to wait until my parents have time... I'm posing as WHO? And what did I ever do you??? That's what I want to know.
