  1. I fail to see why everyone says I know it all. If I knew it all, I wouldn't be in this argument right now. How did this thread get brought up again anyway?
  2. Oh, the irony. Apparently, you should be expecting a PM from me with a picture of the GRENADED part. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, I was agreeing with pretty much everything Tom said. Look, I don't care if you know more about cars than I do, but that doesn't give you any reason to direct that kind of attitude toward me. And my "lack of knowledge" would not have allowed to to successfully rebuild a small engine. Now, not to sound like I know it all, but I figured out the cubic inches of it.
  3. I don't see a problem at all. Well, I always start looking at them and can't stop... But really, it doesn't matter to me.
  4. Well, I look at how bad I screwed it up I usually just put it on the shelf and start building another.
  5. You know, it sure is funny how, when I AGREE with someone (when I'm not even the one who says it), I'M the one that gets all the BS. Yeah, go figure.
  6. Don't know why you continue to be astonished by my lack of knowledge, huh? That's a lack of knowledge, HOW??
  7. I like that Tom Allen guy, he's got a lot of points... Those cars aren't garbage, they can be fun if you get rid of the stock engines. They make awesome little drag cars. And the only reason they were invented is because of the fuel crisis in the '70's. If it wouldn't have been for that, muscle cars might have survived a little bit longer before turning into grandma cars.
  8. Thanks Niko The Nova is looking awesome as well, can't wait to see the finished product. Andy
  9. Chris-I always looked at that on the "other" forum. Awesome Nova.
  10. I think the oil is there to keep the blades together, I think. But, for a good bargain of blades I get the Xacto blade dispenser, has 15 blades and is about $4. As that is not as good of a deal as the 100 pack, you still get a dispenser But my main choice of blades is the Excel #11. Five of them for something like a dollar, I think.
  11. What? I'm supposed to wear something???? I usually wear my prized mesh shorts and a t shirt, really.
  12. Well, you got a point there.
  13. Where's that?
  14. I've already compared it to a 350 small block, didn't really see a resemblance in either of them. But, that's always an option because my eyes are only trained for 1/25 scale And yes, this topic is my primary source of reference for my build. I would've never known to have painted the valve covers Chevy red, because there are no good reference pictures
  15. ^^That's something I never knew, thanks.
  16. Looks good Liam! Eh That looks too big to be a small block to me :\ Only bad thing is that the engine isn't detailed enough to get an accurate answer.
  17. Yup. I'll admit, I had no interest in it, then I went to my first race and I was hooked. It's also so much more fun if you're walking around in the pits rather than just sitting in the stands all day.
  18. Trust me, it's not as boring as it might look to you.
  19. Sounds like a good idea, Harry, definitely would be more exciting. Maybe NASCARs on the Nurburgring!
  20. And she's hot! I must reveal my deep dark secret...my favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson...
  21. You DO have a valid point...I'll say that. BUT, the only reason the name Toyota is in there is because they payed NASCAR an unthinkable amount of money to have their cars in there. Like I said, all NASCARs are the same, it's the stickers and paint and whatnot that's different.
  22. They let a foreign car into an American racing series. And I absolutely can't stand foreign cars, IMO. Now, if that would have happened 40 years ago, I would have been even more mad because the cars actually used real bodies, not carbon fiber bodies with stickers.
