  1. I really enjoyed the show, great bunch of folks and some terrific builds. Shopping was pretty darn good too! I picked up the Revell/Monogram re-pop of the Aurora Ford GT (Great looking kit except for the really skinny tires) and a Monogram Essex Wire Cobra, plus a plethora of odds and sods. Another well run event by the Automotive Model Builders and Collectors of Greater Vancouver (Official club name).
  2. Looks Great! Did you use the IndyCal tires as well? Cheers
  3. Truly Impressive! I assume the IIIF's are the Kora kit? Cheers, Gord
  4. Has anyone any experience with K$R Resin kits? They have a C type Jaguar that may be calling my name. CTYPE JAGUAR 1951 LM WINNER 1/24TH SCALE (kandrreplicas.co.uk) Thanks in advance, Gord
  5. I am switching my focus from slotcars to 1/24, 1/25th scale models of racing and endurance cars such as Can Am, Lemans, Trans Am and SCCA up until 1971 ish, even a few GP cars as long as it doesn't have wings or other gee-gaws. First photo is just the Porsches, most of these were raced or at least run a bit, some tweaked, some stock and the lovely NSR Martini 917 never run. Most are in excellent shape and I can provide more details on request. Trades Only! I am in Canada (Chilliwack BC) so shipping to the US can be a giant pain in the ass.
  6. I have been buying a lot of Indycal stuff lately. The decals are excellent and also very pleased with the tire sets and Lotus 29 correction set. Tire ring decals look very good too.
  7. Yes exactly, after seeing your builds I ordered Boranis from him. Astounding quality, great guy and great service too. Very Affordable. Thanks for the wheel pics, I think I will do the same.
  8. I will be really looking forward to this build Pierre! Have you got Justin started on wheels and tires yet?
  9. Nicely done so far, looking forward to watching your progress
  10. Chilliwack BC West IS best after all! ?
  11. Looking for a scan of the Union instructions for the Heller Alpine 210. This was re-issued by Union and the instructions are usually superior to the original. I have the AMT release and the instructions are not great and there are no colour call outs at all. Thanks in Advance, Gord

  13. Nice clean build. The Bleriot is an aircraft I am fairly obsessed with, ever since I built the Frog and InPact kits when I was a boy. I became especially interested when I discovered that there was actually two of these flow in Canada by Count Jacques de Lessups. Count deLessups later founded an airmail service along the Gaspe and included Shrek FBA 17 flying boats! Cool stuff!. Waiting in my stash are two Frog, 1 Novo, two Renwall Aeroskin, a Blue rider Bleriot X! Artelerie (sp?) and an amazing Chorozy Modelbud kit. I will be building one of the Frog or Novo kits this year as a warmup for a Renwall Aeroskin.
  14. Thanks again for the welcome, I am really enjoying following the builds on here.
  15. Very nicely done, from what I consider the last really great era of Nascar.
