On the ford. I cut one of the legs off a cotter pin ,and bent the loop close. Than I super glue it to the hood,and drilled a hole through each frame rail,and installed a small rod to hold the hood on.
Scott, I was not trying to steel your ideal . I think its a great ideal,and Thank you . I haul coils of steel,and that's the best thing out there to look like the coils.
Mack trucks could be built all Mack,engines trans,and rear end.I think they had a gold Mack bulldog on the top of the hood. Silver Mack were on trucks that was not pure Mack.They had fuller trans or something else in the drive line.
