i had another Earnhardt kit that said just that to paint it engine red... Im taking Chevy Engine red is to Orange? I did have another fire engine red but it dried up... Ill see what i can find laying around and see what i can do... thanks

Does anyone have any good detailed pics of the car for i am in the process of starting on the monogram kit and wondering exactly what red the chassis is and what exact black the body is and how to go about detailing it out thanks Also i will be adding a wip pics or video to this thread so it will be a WIP thread here after bit once i get some work done and some intel collected...

looking awesome... just a tip... take those tires and sand the treads a bit to get rid of that WET look those tires have which will make it look a 100 times better

Update for June... Found out the clear sheet that I got is wrong... It's to brittle and wont hold together with glue to well so back to hobby lobby to trade it in to get what is really needed... darn...

I think I'm waiting on parts and some paint...the paint I'm looking for is that Teihl blue in that AUTO/TRUCKS paint set by testors which is what this is... I obviously don't have it.

there is a few little spots that the camera is not picking up.... other than that its ready for clear and decals and detail work...

In color... it may look PINK but its not...Got a few touch ups to do then clear then decal then reclear everything... wont clear till I get a can of krystal clear for it...

Well here is what is sprayed so far... kind of sprayed a bit heavier than I liked but that's alright... Didn't notice either the side hood panels I sprayed them right but upside down... ill figure out a way to fix that so the paint looks better but her it is PINK and still going to do the door lettering in a hand stencil somehow with my shaky hands...lol

Nope... It was molded in white... just had been painted blue but got fisheyes bad then I put it back in the box for several years until just recently when this build off on youtube came about... and developed the idea that I'm chasing now. Spray can... its base white primer, Dark brown rubbed on with a paper towel then sprayed with black now it has its coat of pink... as I'm trying to go for an AGED look and ill get pics up here in a while

Got some paint for this... Hopefully ill get this in paint this weekend...

Got some .030 clear sheet plastic via K&S Precision Metals from Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon... as well as some Tamiya putty and some paint for this and my sba build...Wondering if this would do for my hood building project?... never done anything like this before?

Well 2 things... 1. I got the color coat and getting ready to spray everything. 2. One of the bumper brackets came up missing so I put a order into R/M and soon as it shows ill get it blacked out then painted PINK! The Color is HOT PINK from Krylon....

Oh I almost forgot... I do have some K&S Clear Plastic Sheet .030 thickness... as well as krylon big can of banner red I got at hobby lobby since they are having a paint sale at 30% off right now... as well as a small krylon short cuts can of hot pink for the Cranky Special build and a bar of tamyia putty to see how that works out...

Cool find... Is there any 68 gto mpc stuff in there or any amt 68 Roadrunner stuff in there if so pm me man...
