  3. dang i should have mentioned something eh? that is the site i was using for ref for my z28 kit im building and sorry for it sounding like spam but my mind dont exactly work sometimes! by the way that brings up a point ... what would you guys use for paint stripper on the kit i have the body sprayed and was going to do bodywork but its softening up so bad it is now quite tacky so i think unless someone comes up with another solution is just strip it back to bare plastic and start over on the body (dont worry the chassie is almost done and i didnt realize the batteries in my digi cam is almost gone so ill get pics up later in a couple days after i get better batteries!)

  8. ok got the frame straightened out pretty much just got some filling work to do and ill add a pic up in the next couple days when i get my camaro pics up so i only take the pic when i take every other ones and go from there! anyone know of a good filler putty or something that wont make the plastic melt?
  9. geez! i cant believe it! i actually got the engine compartment done minus fluid bottle that mounts next to the radiatior! (im going to detail before i install it!) question ... what would you guys do about detailing the steering wheel without stripping the chrome!? i was going to paint the wheel part "WOOD" and wash it then install but painting on top of chrome??? need help on the subject matter at hand! once that is done then ill upload a pic or two!
  10. Actually lets put it this way... im wondering what is the best mustang kit made that i can have engine detail and all the goodies? i know the tamiya kit has those possibilities and i would like to have one that is big enough to go with my revell b-17 bomber?

  19. actually some caster has it if i can find it again ill get back but there is a resin ramp bed and modify whatever kit you want to put it on or you can get the louisville short hauler kit and put the resin ramp on the back of that and get the resin gmc topkick conv. and add to it and you got your self a good looking truck! ramp http://www.perrysresin.com/catalog/pages/comm_ramptruck.htm
  20. yep the engine sits higher in the amt kit than the revell kit! i know cause im working on one myself! let me get you the thread~ edit here ya' go! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=42090&hl=&fromsearch=1 you better watch it im going to start working on it again here in a day or so once i get some other things out of the way!

  22. as a non vet that understands what our boys and girls are going through all the time. THANK YOU ! ... without you guys fighting to keep AMERICA free where would i be today...??? my father served in the air force and got out in 76' (i think...i know he talks about how he had his tools since in the service when he got out in that year). QUESTION... how much of the 040 sheet did you use cause do i need to get 1 pack of 3 (i guess its a 3 per pack) or what cause i dont want to get to much but i dont want to have to make a 2nd order somewhere?
