bandit1 replied to Romell R's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
my inspirational modeler was my old man! he bought me my first kit that i put together and i still remember that funky glue smell (it was about 15 years ago)... blue corvette http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-1996-Corvette-GS-New-Factory-Sealed-Ships-FREE-Model-Car-Swap-Meet-/320783146778?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab02a5f1a#ht_2241wt_1037 ... where i painted the red rally stripes on with a brush cause i didnt know about waterslide decals yet (still thought they where stickers and was malfunctioning!) gave up and painted the stripes ... matter afact if i can i think i may know where its at still if i can find that box at my grandads house! mmmm -

thanks man! does anyone know of anywhere that offers decals to mark this cat motor? i know there is a company that did decals for a resin c series motor but im wondering about a 3406? (mainly for detail decals of a cat 3406) im still trying to figure out a paint solution for it to. also have the battery boxes painted ill install them when its dried and touch up the paint a bit then we will go who knows where after all this mess! -
hey ken what paint did you use on the kitty motor? was it a brush on or spray? and if its a brush on then where would you go and get it?

Question : Can anyone identify the 2 typing error's i made here ? -
