About as much as the mansion from the Psycho movie and the Addams family home that I saw on here. That would have to be my answer. Look, I'm not trying to make waves, I'm just sharing what I think is a creative piece. There's a section to this website labelled "other models" for non-car related stuff, but I thought it was more appropriate to share this in the Diorama section. Most of what I've done have been cars. I was proud of this piece, and I wanted to share it thinking that others might enjoy it too. If you don't like it, fine. Taste is subjective. I can take criticism. But - Do we have to be so litigious about this stuff?

The mere presence of the angelic warriors on the one side of the river causes that side of the valley to appear fertile. The opposite is true on the other side... Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. (Revelation 16:16) Still a work in progress, but I'm very excited about how it's coming along! So...what do you think?

Their king is the angel from the bottomless pit; his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon -- the Destroyer. (Revelation 9:11) This nasty looking Gundam will represent him... Disregard the little green mech on the lower left, I decided not to mix scales and removed it.. Now we're seeing some backup on the scene! I intend to fill this entire side of the landscape with angels of all different sorts. Note the 1/6 dollhouse Bible in the Gundam's hand.. I applied a very unique, top secret heavy wash to the evil Gundam to make it look charred as if he had been through hellfire... The soldiers of the world army are 1:144 scale. I plan to add more vehicles to go along with the tank, and the white star will need to be covered up by the world government's decal to fit the story... Are the pretty blue helmets subtle enough?

The ash came right out of a bonfire from my back yard. I can not take credit for the rock formation, it was premade when I bought it... These 3 little devils represent the Beast, The Dragon, and the False Prophet... I'm beginning to get addicted to these Gundam models. This one will represent the angelic army...

Started this one a couple of weeks ago and just got on a roll. I swear I have the attention span of a gnat - I just can't keep focused on one thing at a time! The idea was to portray the battle of Armageddon using mecha and my own symbolic interpretations. I started with this red cloth that I got from my daughter and cut a piece of plexiglass to lay over it to depict a river of blood... Used woodland scenics ready grass and shaped it by heating it with a heat gun... Applied a little bit of a wash to low lying areas, added talus, realistic water and water effects, lightly sprayed some different earth tone paints on the grass... The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. (Revelation 16:4)

Thanks for the comments guys. i did this one for basically for kicks. I got the idea from one of my kid's toys (the rabbit) combined with the fact that I had never built a Gundam before and this is where it all went. I know it's goofy, but it was fun to do something without taking it so seriously. It was also nice to involve the kids who helped me by making the throne and the flags. I am working on a more "serious" diorama as well, and I'll be sure to share some pictures soon.

We just had to get greedy. We had to screw around with the food God gave us and design genetically engineered fruits and vegetables in the name of profits. But did anyone ever consider the consequences? Once critters started feeding exclusively on these crops, their genetics began changing as well. Giant, super veggies led to giant super-intelligent offspring being born in forest creatures. They realized mankind's tendency to destroy what we do not understand, so they lied in wait. Planning their next move. Raising an army in their giant underground burrows and engineering killing machines. And now, mankind is caught in a vicious cycle. The giant bunny overlord demands bigger and better carrots, so we keep engineering them and delivering them in the hopes of satisfying him and buying ourselves some time. But, as he and his minions consume even larger carrots, the next generation is bound to be born even bigger and more powerful. What shall we do to survive as a species?

Actually, the 301 wasn't utilized until 1977, but it was the only Pontiac engine that had a sideways mounted oil filter, so you may be onto something here

This is outstanding. Can anyone tell me how you guys open up the grilles on models? I'm assuming you use a dremmel, which I have, but I've never had the nerve to actually try it for fear of ruining a part.

I had an idea for a diorama, and there is a particular aircraft I would like to include in it, but I don't know my way around helicopter models. There is a dual prop helicopter that I've seen used for heavy transport. Can anyone tell me what it's called and if they make a scale model version of it? I would need it to be a smaller scale, it would have to measure 4 inches or less across, and I would need there to be availability of people figures in the same scale. Thanks in advance!

48 Ford Convertible Street Rod 10/27

Looks like a bellhousing adapter. Typically, these are used to match an engines bolt pattern to a tranny that wasn't originally designed to mate to it. -
Anyone casting skeletons?

You guys should look into D&D and other wargaming miniatures. All kinds of neat undead stuff available! -
Anyone want this kitted?

Ugh lee! -
Now were in the home stretch! Assembled.... Rear view. Not sure if you can make out the license plate, but it says "WITH N V" -get it? I owe Joe Chernaukas a big thank you for a great trade that supplied the Pontiac rims.... I somehow missed the fact that I didn't have the front of the frame snapped in all the way for this pic (and the one above), but it still looks decent... Still to go, I need to get some decal sheets that don't shrivel up like a prune, I need to break up the taillights to show backup and turn signals, and I may try something different for the headlights. I'm not completely happy with those

Had to take the memory card to the drug store to have the pics burned to a CD. Such a pain in the butt! Anyway, here we are.... with body cladding added... then paint... I really wanted to go with that dark GM Hunter green, but I just didn't trust myself with anything other than the one-coat laquer... Interior....

Yes, I did use their spray bonder which brings up another gripe. It says to let it sit for 2 hours and I let it sit for 24. I bought their custom decal maker for $10.50, then a package of the extra paper for $10.50, so I've got $21 plus tax tied up in something that I can not even use. All of it is garbage! The program is on a mini-cd, so if you want to put it on a desktop instead of a laptop computer, you're outta luck. Additionally, all the program lets you do is select from prewritten templates. The "full sets" are really corny looking (except for maybe the flames), and they give you 4 lousy state license plates to choose from. As soon as you click the "Import Picture" option, it redirects you to a website where they have the stones to try and sell you another program that is an upgrade to this ######. Ok, now that I'm sufficiently disgusted, I'm going to write this company and demand my money back.
