On a Quite night one can hear the Ford out back RUSTING!!
Darn it i did up art but must have messed up some way/how.
Any who this is some things i did while not doing some thing else.
i had this brain gas and drew it up thought i would share it with you.
i did see some one doing up a Lindberg cord kit here some where.
one might buy 2 or 3 kits and bash scratch one up.
i know there is a dubs model all ready sorta like this but its not a kit.
Render test.Maya.
Nah go ahead its a lid for a file box they come in flat pack one must fold
and put the tabs in slots i think i got them at Office Depot.
it beats working out of kit box as one can see what is what
the bigger bottom will hold most every thing.
Ps I decided to go ahead and use the Ardun engine. (Ardun converts flat head to over head valve.
It also greatly improves the flat heads cooling property's.)
clearance the inner fenders. clearance the back of the trans and frame cross-member.
schooched the engine back a small bit.front mounts still used but back a few (2?) inches
going too build a new exhaust sys kit comes with steel tips i will for sure use them
out from in front of rear wheels and i will keep the Smitty's.
Man nothin sounds like a pair of packs backing down. Pop Crackle Pop Pop Crackle.
I have not picked a color yet but am thinking of a silvery metallic or metallic gray.
I am not a master modeler and just started back modeling 2 weeks ago. after many years.
i have 4 cars in the works stock "T" roadster PU and Coupe hot rod AMT re pop 3-1 kit
and Revell 50 Ford F-1 PU red fenders and pearl white body/bed
I have to relearn every thing again.
I wanted to use the engine from the 50 F1 and still might if i can.
clearance the steering box and hook up the headers (Hooker Headers?) ha ha.
Looks Real nice.I am a fan of any truck and panels are cool.
You said you might add some more decals .
I would add something to the pass- doors as the graphics on
the ride make it look a$$ heavy.
Thank You,Folks Every answer is a big help. And gives me ideas.
'By pan type under side'
Do you mean' the screw to body type? I always disliked those funny screws. but what the heck.
it was better than nothing.Ha Ha
Thank You all very much.
I kind of Remember havin a 60 falcon model when i was a kid??
i can't remember if it was a promo or a kit.
i would love to see if one might make a ranchero from it .
or was it a ranchero kit already. i can't remember CRS did it come with extras?
if it was a kit i see that some one is releasing a 64 falcon.
they are going to make the coupe then a convertible and maybe a ranchero.
any way my mind is not what it once was. please take it easy on me if this is a really dumb question.
Out Standing.. work. you give me hope for my brass project..
Time spent in Hobby stores will not count against your Life span.
i spent many hours in Caboose Hobby's
if you clear over silver then you might get a pewter look .
it some how changes the depth of the color.
I used silver or chrome paint with clear over to
fix plastic bumpers on a Dodge Caravan.
I just spayed my "T" model chopped coupe Amt's 3 in one, (Rat Rod?) with Testors one coat Lacquer-1831M-Fiery Orange'the other day.
it looks ok but i think it needs a clear coat.
but to show kids how to paint with cans it's fast drying just the trick i would think.and not as stinky as enamel.
cut up some card stock tape it up in to a model car body size/shape box use it to test and practice on.
Fans Fans i use two 120x38mm fans side by side at over 100cfm each ( = 200 cfm plus)they are used take outs from old computers basically free. to me
you might buy new similar for 15 bucks each off the net.
i have a short run for the air and don't use the thing for more than a few minuets at a time.
Thank You. i have only watched the intro but I look forward to seeing the rest.
I have a old Binks the cup is a bit rough chrome separating.
I wish that i had some, plastic bag cup liners like the big boys it would save some cleaning...any one??
Any Computer fans i have are Brush-less. i might be wrong but no brushes no sparks. the fans i have don't get hot.
they are double ball bearing and i use activated charcoal air filters they are replacement filters for room air cleaners.5 bucks for 2
i have some battery powered lights i will say not too hot and not really dangerous.
one must use common sense.
Blasting a flammable fog direct into or at any thing is not a good idea.
Baffle the air flow suck/blow it away from the fan, filter it. Try and be safe. But still model as best as one can .
I wish you all to have fun not blow up you house. How about a water fall booth?..Ha Ha Snicker.
