  1. I am going to have to return my 66 GTO. The doors and trunk don't open!!!!! Very nice build. Joe.
  2. Still no pictures of the engine alone. Joe.
  3. My problem is the adhesive. It is pretty weak. BTW, thanks for the tip about the refrigerator. I will put in there next to the Cyano. joe.
  4. I would really like a Hummer H1 in 1/24 or 1/25. The civilian model. optional top up or down joe.
  5. I would have bought the F50, Enzo or any of the classic Ferraris. The Aventador is not a classic. Maybe i am just not a Lambo guy.
  6. If this is the new Pocher, my check book is primed and ready. joe.
  7. Maybe an F50. The rear spoiler shape doesn't look like an F50 but that peek a boo shot of the front spoiler does. The wheels do not look like F50 factory wheels. joe.
  8. If it is not a generic icon, my guess is a Ferrari California or 599 GTO. joe.
  9. The last time i built cars, I built 1/43rd white metal or resin cars. they were all GT/Le Mans or F1 cars. Upon this return to cars it is road cars and road bikes only. That did not last long and soon I had the bug to build a race car. I decided to do the 2001 Daytona Corvette C5R. I bought the kit, the photo etch and carbon fibre sets. I also bought the Historic Racing Miniatures resin body A LONG TIME AGO. This weekend I spent most of my hours watching the Daytona 24 Hours and of course I saw quite a few commercials for the upcoming Daytona 500 which I can never see or hear about without thinking of Dale Earnhardt. To me, that race and him and jr are forever linked together. The whole point of this is that yesterday the HRM body arrived! As I went through the kit and body instructions, the decals with Dale's number 3 touched a nerve. Although I have 3 started kits in various degrees of being finished I will start Dale's 2001 Daytona car next weekend. joe.
  10. Half of my models are bikes. I too would like to see a separate section. At least let us post them in Big Boyz, they are, after all 1/12!!!! Joe.
  11. 1/25 1970 GTO Convertible, would do it for me.
  12. May i ask what you painted the interior with? Black interiors throw me a bit and yours looks great! Joe.
  13. I love it. Joe.
  14. Another option is to buy the 2001 daytona or 2002 lemans resin body fron Historic Racing Models. Pricey but the hood lifts off and the louvers are open, Joe.
  15. the really weird thing about the kit you just won (which i also have) is that the engine is so nice but the hood does not lift off!!!!
  16. Nice build, is that the AMT kit??? joe.
  17. thanks for all the comments and the responses. I am working on the belts now and will post pictures next week. joe.
  18. I think the prototype was a pig. I really like the one they ended up with though. joe.
  19. I was thinking that would be the case. Thanks Craig. Joe.
  20. Almost done. Where do the seat belts attach??? thanks, joe.
  21. Is that the Skips Diner model? If so, I have that one as well. joe.
  22. I think all of us have a dream of building the absolute miniature recreation of our fav car. Mine is a 1/12 427 Shelby Cobra. I would spare no expense. joe.
  23. i have lost NIB models but not lost models. I am sorry about the loss, it was a great model. joe.
  24. I love it. Can't wait to see it in styrene. Did anyone catch the price??? joe.
  25. I am aware of the 1/8 scaled kits like the big tub, but i would prefer something a bit smaller. Thanks, Joe.
