    '64 GTO

Well I wanted an EZ build to take my mind off things for awhile, and I didn't want to have to buy anything! I'd picked up a few of these Polar Lights GTO kits a few yrs. ago for like 4$ each sooo.. I gotta say they're not bad I left the body "pre-painted" and just painted & detailed the rest. I did dig up a set of wheels & tires that are more accurate & it looks good on the shelf
  3. as an aside was it here that i read someone had found the orbitron in front of a tijuana brothel or something and was currently restoring it? ugly azz car but historical still. i think ed was sitting under bubble tops in the sun a bit too long while he was designing that one!

  16. Decided to redo an OLD build of the "Heavy Chevy" complete with side pipes unfortunatly I'd painted it with duplicolor laq. so a lot of hand sanding was involved. I wanted something sorta mean looking but clean, I removed most the molding & door handles enlarged the rear wwells a bit redid the interior and did a little tweaking to the big block 454..been kinda preoccupied with our current financial situation, so this was a good distraction although I probably coulda done a few things a little better
