  1. Thanks very much for all your support, guys! I have the 1/25 Street Hemi Carter AFB carbs available now. Each set includes two complete pairs (2 front and 2 rear carbs). Item number FMR-082. Shown here attached to the intake of the Revell '70 Hemi Cuda.
  2. Yes, I have the small 13" Minilte set available, too. Thanks!
  3. Hello All, I have been making new items but haven't been updating my web site! I have fixed that now, and these new items officially for sale now. Please see my website, www.fireballmodelworks.com, for prices and ordering information.
  4. Hello all, I have a new wheel set that I am releasing today. It is not on my website. FMR-076 is a set of replacement wheels for the 1/25 Revell Starsky & Hutch Torino. Sized at 15x7 for front and 15x9 for rear, these wheels will give the "Striped Tomato" the proper staggered wheel depth. Cast in gray resin, they need to be painted with Alclad or Spaztik Chrome. Please contact me through email to order. fireball(at)josephosborn.org Thanks for looking, Joseph
  5. Matt, this discussion is getting a little esoteric for the audience, so I will PM you.
  6. Not really more complicated, just more interesting. I'm just pleased you can use math It's not unusual at all for a kit manufacturer to fudge these numbers a little. Your biggest issue is that the tires are all the same width instead of the rears being a couple of scale inches wider. To me, that throws off the entire look of the model compared to the real car. If it is something you can live with, then it's possible to design the wheels around that problem.
  7. Please be aware that this fellow, "Alex Yamill," is recasting my M/T drag radial in white resin. He's actually selling them for more than I do! If you want the cottage industry to continue to develop unique and interesting items, please don't buy poor-quality recasts from people who steal.
  8. I can do this wheel design in just a few minutes in 3D. I just need some target dimensions.
  9. Yes, those are my Pacer wheels. Item numbers FMR-038, 039, 040, and 041. They come in pairs with locking hubs or caps and with 6 lugs or 5.
  10. Hello gents, I'm pleased to announce some new additions to my line today. 1/24 Mud King XT tires in both weighted and round sets: 1/25 17" Wrangler MT/R tires and two styles of beadlock wheels: As always, full details and ordering information is available on my website, http://www.fireballmodels.info Thanks and have a great weekend, Joseph
  11. Thanks, multiple Mikes This 16" tire and wheel is a definite possibility.
  12. PK-Pro Masking Putty? http://www.pk-pro.de/index.php?a=5068 Basically it's just Silly Putty marketed to modelers and costing a whole lot more. Silly Putty is great for airbrush masking.
  13. Mopar steel wheels seem to be available in various 1/25 scale kits, so I don't have any plans to do them in 1/25. These sets are meant to give some options for folks building the Monogram line of 1/24 Mopars, such as the '69-1/2 Suberbee, the '70 Superbird, and the Challenger & Cuda kits. They could be used on a 1/25 model with little trouble, but might appear somewhat oversized to a trained eye.
  14. They are 14" in 1/24 scale, so they'll fit just about any 1/25 scale 15" tire.. Finding whitewalls to fit these wheels should not be a problem.
  15. Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. These rims probably won't fit the tires that come in the kit unless those tires are oversized for 1/25 scale.
  16. Last but not least, 1/25 scale 20" Hurst Stunner wheels with matching Goodyear Eagle F1 tires for the modern muscle crowd. These are available in two different sets: FMR-065 is a set of four 20x9 wheels and four 245/45-20 tires FMR-066 is a set of 20x9 wheels and 245/45-20 tires for the front, and 20x10 wheels and 295/35-20 tires for the rear. both sets include decals for the centercaps. Check out my website for full details on all these new sets, www.fireballmodels.info
  17. Also available now are some Mopar steelie wheels in 1/24 scale: The FMR-061 set is made for Mopar A12 cars, and I can also provide wider 15x9 rear wheels if you want to put drag radials on your Sixpack Superbee! The 15" redlines are available separately, too.
  18. Hello all, I have some new items coming out now. First off, my line of 1/24 Rally II wheels. Right now there are three versions: The G78-14 redline tires are available separately, too. I post a lot of things on Facebook-- just search "Fireball Modelworks" and like my page Thanks, Joseph
  19. Hi all, I have a new tire that some of you might be interested in: a 7.00-15LT bias ply light truck tire in 1/25 scale. I made it specifically to use on the new Moebius Fords, which come with generic radial-looking tires. These aren't on my website just yet, but they are available. Send me a message or an email if interested. Thanks, Joseph
  20. Thanks Jim!! Thanks Joshua; Please go to http://www.fireballmodels.info
  21. Hi; this tire set is available now. I forgot to come back here to update-- sorry for that. The feedback from the guys who have gotten them has been good, so if you are interested in this big tire, head over to my website http://www.fireballmodels.info and see the ordering information. Thanks!
  22. They are sized for a "real" 15" x 12" rim at 1/25 scale, so just about any 1/25 scale 15" wheel will fit. They are rubber and will stretch a little, so some 1/24 15" wheels should fit as well.
  23. 1/25 scale MT Baja Belted 39x18x15 for desert trucks and dune buggies 3D print: First rubber castings:
  24. I know the fellow who's doing those military figures. He's using a rather inexpensive EnvisionTEC DLP resin machine (inexpensive compared to other industrial 3D printers, that is) that is normally used for jewelry and dental work. The 3D printing is the easy part of what he's doing, though. The real trick to his process is that instead of sculpting the figures, he's scanning real people, wearing the correct uniforms/outfits. So the result is his figures are much more accurate and lifelike than any sculpted figure could ever be. There are limitations, of course-- chiefly, the object you want to recreate has to exist in real life in some physical form or another. A sculptor or designer can create a 3D model from nothing but his imagination, but the scanning process needs something tangible to start with. Even with scanning the people to get the 3D model, there is still hours spent editing the 3D models for printing. Scanning is not a "shake & bake" solution.
