  1. I am only 15 years old but I already have my first car. Toyota Corolla KE20 1975. It needs some work, such as new paint, new front seats, engine repair and much more. Still have to wait three years to get my driving license and I get to drive to Corolla. here some pictures of Corolla My dad has '41 Chevy Coupe hot rod. In this picture Chevy is in the condition when my father bought it a few years ago.
  2. Okay. Here is my latest project which I started a few days ago. This is my first newer muscle car project and I'm pretty sure that this Shelby is not going to be only one what i build. This project will be box stock build except those chrome wheels wich are from Revell '72 Olds Cutlass. The body color will be silver with blue stripes. Here some pictures of what's going on now
  3. Yesterday I continued the engine assembly by putting the carburetor, plug wires, and also I did the fuel line. Next, I need to do the alternator bracket and return engine assembly.
  4. Thanks! I painted it a spray can. The paint manufacturer is Maston.
  5. Thanks!! Now they fit better as you can see on that last picture. It will be just a bit higher because on that picture those rear tires rub just a little bit on those rear fenders. Maybe tomorrow i post some pics with higher rear end. It is ok. I put that X2 to the topic title when you start your own GTO.
  6. I started this project a couple of days ago, by painting the engine and some of its parts. The rear tires are from my parts box and front tires came with this kit. Those CenterLine wheels are casted by Marko Piironen. I removed those original exhaust pipes wich was casted to rear axle. After that put some bondo on that rear axle and sanded. Its need still little bit of bondo. I am also work some kind of plastic pieces of between rear axle and chassis which will lift the rear end so much higher That rear wheels do not rub against the rear fenders. Here's few photos. The engine is Pontiac 400 wich came with this kit. I need to paint that carburator and then i can put some details to engine like fuel line and plug wires. The rear axle after modifications. If you click on the picture you can see a larger version. All kind of comments and tips are welcome.
  7. I think it's this '62 Chevy Impala
  8. That is one very beautiful Edsel! I like that mild custom look and body color combinations. Nice Job!
  9. That is awesome!! I like a lot of that paint job!
  10. Very nice build! Body color is very nice and engine detailing looks good. I'm not a big fan of those big wheels but in this car they looks very good.
  11. Nice build! I liked that interior a lot and the body color is very nice.
  12. Thanks for those kind comments! philo426: The suspension is in its original high so I have not made any changes to it. The only reason why the rear end is a bit low is that the chassis does not have a good connection points for the back so it was hard to even get into position correctly. However now the stance looks good to me. Here are a few new picture with painted emblems. I painted them with silver paint and painting tool was a toothpick. The letters was not easy to paint but the end result I'm quite happy. Thanks for looking.
  13. I think that its not impossible to put some BMF or silver paint to those Bonneville letters and emblems on front fenders. I dont have any idea of those wheels.
  14. If you click on the picture so you can see a larger version.

  17. Today I continued the motor assembly by putting the carburators, fuel line, distributor, plug wires and exhaust manifolds. I still need to lower the distributor to get the air filter fit well. Then start the engine final assembly.
  18. Okay, I started my T-bird project yesterday by painting almost all of the engine and suspension parts by brush. Today i started the engine assembly by gluing intake manifold, water pump, valve covers and oil pan in place. Next, I'm going to put the plug wires and fuel line from carburettors to fuel pump and then I start the motor end-stacking and finishing.
