  1. This. And after a quick wetsand/buff to see if it was base clear or not... Hood is getting painted to match this weekend.
  2. A little more info on my T/A... I bought a trans am yesterday from new Brunswick. 85, 2 lady owners, never winter driven, always stored in a heated garage, all original. The only thing replaced was 10 inches of brake line cause the original chafed. T tops with the original bags, car cover included. Painted once. 305 4 bbl 700r. There is zero rust. At all. Anywhere. 3300$!
  3. the engine overhaul at banks alone likely cost upwards of 30k. plush the dodge 3500, plus the d200 plus icons labour the custom interior jl audio stereo the suspension wheel and tire upgrade the driveline upgrade to handle the new power honestly 300k while not a "steal" Entirely reasonable for the work that went into it.
  4. Sorry to hear, take care.
  5. not in the slightest. those were dark dark days for automobiles.

  8. god awful looking, both versions. stupid, idiotic, ridiculous
  9. Wouldn't like to see any! New old or otherwise! Not fond of them in 1:1 scale either...
  10. Somehow I doubt gm would devote any time money or effort to building anything with a different manufacturer s engine.
  11. Thought you were mostly playing with hot rods now ace? On my way to help out a buddy with his81 monte. Then I have to port a set of heads tonight.
  12. itll work on any manifold. but it would be pointless on anything but a Big single plane (super victor, pro products super hurricane, dart, etc) but then again, anything BUT a Big single plane.. is pointless
  13. yes, there's a venturi, one Reaaaaaaaaaaaal big one. the brass tube replace the "squirters" on your typical holley which disrupt airflow and create turbulence, as does splitting the air charge into 4 streams (4 venturi) as this picture shows harry, I doubt moving air is a concern for this carb. http://www.prosystemsracing.com/svseries.html
  14. The advantage isn't so much more flow, but less disruption of the flow for a denser intake charge. The guy who owns this company has like a couple PhDs in fluid dynamics so I'm inclined to believe him. This is actually the carb I intend to run on my engine.
  15. Love the idea of nitrous on a Porsche. Love the idea of nitrous on anything, actually.
