  2. Body's primed, paint is either candy red candy blue or emerald green
  3. Looks great. Fantastic paint work on the engine
  4. got a little more done, ride heights set, and frame is built ready for paint, not sure wether to run the kit rims painted with alclad magnesium for the old school racer look, or wide whites and hubcaps. ill make that call tomorrow when i shoot some paint after work. this has been the never ending week.

  7. 12 hours into what is likely going to be a 24 or so hour workday... unlikely that any progress is going to be made tonight. Still no clue on colours though gloss black is one that is rattling around in the old brain pan...
  8. Started my revell street rod kit got the frame more or les built and ready for paint. Only difference is wide whites and traditional wheels. No clue on colours. Ideas?

  10. Thats an lt1 or Lt4 or 5... not an ls engine anyways. Got a revell 40 ford and the tony nancy double kit.
  11. i hope they learn from their successes with the 49 merc AND 48 ford coupe kits and release some more traditional customs.. 53-54 chevy or 53-54 caddy would be cool. or a zephyr. or god willing they dig their heads out of their rectums and tool up a 57 chevy Convertible..

  18. Absoloutley not. A car doesnt need to leak oil to be "worked" \ leaking fluids of any sort is just poor maintenance. plain and simple.
  19. First scuff of wetsanding is done to knock down the tape ridges. Next is bmf the one more round of clear to seal it all in

  21. i did, and got didly frig. i figured we had some members from the area perhaps to chime in. how far from maine is portland? my mother and my wife are going on a shopping trip in october. she wanted to know if there were any hobby stores in bangor to check out for me (shes a keeper)
