  2. Yes. Thank you. I am aware that testors works by melting the plastic. So does tenax and ambroid. I use both as well. Testors in a tube worjs for what i need to do when i use it. If not i use tenax. Or ca. Or white glue. Can we stop critiqing my bloody glue choices and i dont know, maybe talk about the jeezly model?
  3. this is our toy. its getting a new engine next winter. that ill be building my self. should make 450-500 horse when im done with it.
  4. i use all types of glue, tube glue has its place. its just fine for most joints if you dont need it to set up right that instant.
  5. first off: Thank you revell for reissuing this. I love this kit, it takes me back to my childhood when i built it the FIRST time around. did some more on it, modified the engine mounts to use the other big block, fixed the blemishes in the bodywork and re painted the body, ill clear it on saturday. got the interior tub, and seats painted ( model master "leather" enamel, thinned and airbrushed) finished painting the rear suspension components and assembled that so it is a rolling chassis now. pics tomorrow.
  6. Gorgeous. Wish there was a stock 34 chevy cabriolet available so i could build ours
  7. Cant help in your search but i gotta get that high roller kit!
  8. Hope to work on this one a little more tomorrow. Still trying to decide in which engine to use. Found a few blemishes i missed in the primer so i got to fix those and then respray my base silver and the red. Balls. Oh well. Think im gping to put a pagan gold belt line stripe on it as well.

  11. 4 inch ex is way to much. 3 inch pipe max. Long tube headers, a cam would really wake up that ta
  12. While rust would be the most realistic approach to buildinga stinkin old dodge, you should pro street it
  13. started spraying the first coats of flame red pearl over duplicolour ca.dy base coat silver.
  14. Looks amazing keith
  15. Built this kit as a wee fella in the early 90's with my old man. Been anxiously awaiting its re-release since getting back into the hobby 5 years ago. Will be built box stock with added wiring and plumbing most likely, though i have a 454 from the baldwin kit and the tunnel ram and headers from the 55 chevy spprtsman kit i had built for a different project might use for this one. Still unsure of the colour. But ill be spraying psint tomorow. Ill need to pick up a bunch more of these to rob for thier chassis and tires for other cars.
  16. plan to build an Ls (gen III or IV) based engine for my 1:1 camaro eventually, simply because they are the greatest engine ever made, by anybody. but modern parts on my models no. cause i buy no modern models to rob parts off, because i dislike modern cars! edit - rat rods are hot roddings Unwanted Ginger stepchildren.
  17. No! No weathering! Make it shine Rust is junk
  18. looking forward to at least looking in the box of the foose kits. Wont buy one unless it includes new suspensions and or engine parts. Who knows, they could be doing something along the lines of the rat roaster with an existing body but new everything else. Heres hoping.
  19. this is bloody gorgeous
