I picked this one up at LIARS swap meet, I ordered the grill inserts from Modelhaus and going to take it apart this after noon and put it in Purple Power. Sorry for the blurry photo's, but this is the last time you'll see it this way.
Thanks for looking.

I took 3 years of starting and stopping this project, but it's final done. It's painted in factory Glen Green with Saddle interior. I got a set of resin Turbine Wheels off eBay, which I think looks much better than kit supplied wheels.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. I've always been a fast builder, I just get into it and then I'm done.

Looks great! Where did you source the wheels?
Ryan, You can find the wheel and tire combo's on Facebook at the following address. These are the Rally Style.

Welcome Richard. Anyone can go, my service dog Cheyenne loves TSMCC Meetings and the chicken. LOL Hope to see you there.

Thanks again everyone. Michael, The Candy Apple by Dupli-color is a lacquer.

Thanks guys. The hood and rear bumper are from the Modelhaus. I'm going to have stock up before they retire.

Another eBay gluebomb brought back from the dead. I painted this one Dupli-color Candy Apple Red with Testors Wet Look Clear top coat. and added a Masking Tape vinyl top.I also tinted the glass with Tamiya Clear Blue. I couldn't find stock wheel covers, so I used some Magnum 500's out the parts box and a set of AMT's RWL Goodyear tires.
Thanks for looking.

Beautiful Build!!! Where did you get those hub caps? I need a set bad.

Very cool Tom. You were huffing paint again, weren't you

Thanks again everyone. I have perfected how to accelerate drying time on my paint jobs. 1st I never use enamel, 2nd I have small space heaters, that makes drying in a couple of minutes.

Once again, Thank you. This IMO is a must have for Cutlass 442 or Oldsmobile lovers. This is a great transkit for getting your feet wet in the world of resin.
Highly Recommended!!!

Thanks everyone. I think I got a great deal on this one. I did a little research on pricing on this promo and the average is between $65 to $280. This one was $50, plus the 2 Modelhaus bumpers of $17.00, makes it the deal of the year.

Unbelievable!
Outside of the paint having far too much metallic in it, I think it looks pretty nice!
Steve
I started this at 2:30 this afternoon and was finished at 4:30. Steven, I primered the body with Tamiya Military mediun blue and I thought the Testors Diamond Mist was a pearl overcoat. Boy was I wrong, you can't even see the blue. The diamond over powered it and this is what I was left with. When your doing a quick build for a contest, you don't have the luxury of a repaint.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments.

Greg, Paint, BMF, window tint, everything. I'm a little stoned from the fumes

Thank you everyone. I always thought the 68 was much better looking than the 69. IMO.

Now that's one of those "holy grails" to some of us, especially if you can find it in kit form.
Not easy to come by.
Nice work Al!!
Steve
Thanks guys.
I don't remember this being in kit form. I won this one on eBay on Saturday for $50.00, this was one clean example. I've been looking for one for years.
