Looks good so far, I'd go with the Caddy caps as well, but I tend to like the '50s style more than the late big alloy wheel look. If you go for the taildragger look, take a bit more out of the rear pillars compared to the front pillars, but should look good whatever way you do it. Cheers Matt

Hi Randy, yes I will be doing the rear fenders, just unsure on whether I will do the fronts as well and have long running boards or just leave the front with no guards. Have a medicine bottle the right diameter for the rear guards. Matt

I know it's not Saturday at the moment (Monday here), but this is a start...pics soon! I've got a few that I have started as well as the volksrod, '32 lo-boy (see I've learn't ), '32 woody ute, and several others. No pics yet, but will post some when I do get my bench built....I'm using the dining table at the moment, so we all know what that means....unpack, pack up over and over! You guys are building some nice kits and have some great benches, hopefully mine turn out well.

Hi David, no it's the AMT Blueprinter engine with some carbs from the parts box and brass velocity stacks, the exhaust which I'm wroking on is brass stock and I'll drill the ends out. Cheers Matt

Thanks Scott, thanks Jim! Yes I am using the Blueprinter engine, It is getting the turbo now, I found that the panel that the engine and trans mate up to is basically where the exhaust sits for the turbo version, so it will have a revised intake and exhaust setup (maybe not scale but should still look ok). The turbo carb will be replaced by a webber and it will use the blueprinter exhaust with a few extra bits added in. Not a fully detailed kit, but will get to the spark plug leads etc eventually. Not really my idea, have seen one on the web (a three window), and someone here in Australia offers a three window resin body very similar to the Dan Fink body. I found this picture on the web and thought it would look good a s a five window (I'm 6'7" so if it was full size it would be a tad more suitable for me ). Thanks for the comments too!

Thought I'd start on this as well, looks a bit rough at the moment.... Rear guards haven't been removed yet, other plans are chop the windscreen (was broken in the box) and corvair motor....turbo or twin webbers.

Started this one a little while ago. Tried to read the guidlines on photos etc, just came up with page not found all the time. So if I add too many photos per post or anything else like that just let me know. Cheers Matt Started with the roof... First mock up... Stretched chassis and sectioned rear quarters Grill Grill shortened, engine mock up started and lowered a little more in the front... And the tray started... That's it for now....hopefully not too many pictures!. Let me know what you think.
