This site doesn't sell paint but it is a good place to find paint codes and colors by year:
I just click the "Paint Chips" tab at the top left then select the manufacturer and then the year.

Anyone know if there is a 71 Charger that has bucket seats and the center console? I'm building a Super Bee and the 1:1 for my inspiration has bucket seats and the console. If there is not one, I guess I will scratchbuild one. I have already reworked the bench seat into bucket seats so if must be done, so shall it be. lol
Thanks for any help,
Mark

On the Spaz Stix site, it says that the mirror chrome is "specially formulated for Lexan". What primer would you need to use this on styrene or is it incompatible with styrene? Thanks.

My choice is gold as well.

I hadn't thought about doing paint chips. That's a great idea.
I haven't started doing a lot of mixing colors yet, so my system is a little different. I bought some 1 inch round labels(Avery 5408) and type the color on it, then stick it on the cap. Then I print the month and year and stick it on the bottom. I also make the background Gray for Metallizers and Green for Acrylics.

What is the CFM rating of your proposed fans??
Thanks for the replies, guys.
Ace,
each fan is 240 CFM, but I will need to use flexible hose to vent (about 8 feet). From reading some of the other posts, you need more suction for the flex rather than the solid pipe. Do you think this might be overkill?
Thanks.

I'm looking to build a paint booth(3x2x2) and use 2 bilge blowers for the fans. For the power supply, would this be what I need:
DC 12V 5A 10A 15A 20A 30A Regulated Transformer Power Supply For LED Strip USA
Will I need one for each blower ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/200489271226?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 )? The blowers are 4A and use a 6A fuse.
If I only need one, should it be a 10A or something higher?
Electrical connections are not really in my wheelhouse. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Model Expo has several different sizes of chain. Love the truck!

Thanks for the replies. That's what thought when I couldn't find one online.
I think I'll try the .025 V-groove siding first and see where it goes from there.

I ran across this and thought I would share:
http://forum.largescalemodeller.com/topic/20-wood-grain-a-how-too/
I know it's not on a model car, but his step-by-step method should easily transfer to cars. It also shows how to get the different shades of wood desired.

Thanks, guys. I sent an order for the PE and a email to see if I can get the decals just now.

Does anyone have this set? If so, would it be possible to post a large picture of it or a pic of the installation instructions. I have tried searching every way I can think of and can only find the small stock pic that is on the Model Car Garage site(even the etailers and ebay sellers use it). I want to build the Super Bee but I can't tell what the PE kit has in it to see if has what I need before I buy it.
Thanks in advanced for any help!

Pictures are of my brother-in-law's Bee.

Ben, I would also be interested in a set of each if that is possible.
Thanks

That is some INSANE detail, Sergey! Awesome!

I don't remember seeing this one race, but you did an outstanding job on it.

Excellent builds!! Hope my Lonestar turns out half this good!

The bigger and better weapons you have, the longer you live when fighting zombies! I LIKE it!!

Thanks for the info, guys. That is what I was looking for.

Is there a way to tell which MM enamel paints are flat and gloss? Does it fall under the number classification(1700's, 2100's, etc.) or by the list (auto, railroad, military, etc.)? I looked at Testor's site but couldn't find an answer. Any help is appreciated.

Awesome! I've already got my scheme picked out for it and the Great Dane trailer! Can't tell you how much it means to me as a modeler when a company keeps you in the loop and has OUTSTANDING customer service to boot!

Very nice builds. Did you use decals for the tire lettering or is it paint? Very crisp, especially on the middle car.
-
Man, these are some incredible builds! All we could make were houses and such when I was growing up(I'm almost 50). I didn't know lego had come this far. Impressive!

Great job!
Surely Fujimi or Aoshima will do one of these...?

I like it! I would definitely buy 2 or 3 even though I mainly model Nascar, Big Rigs and American muscle cars. Be a nice change of pace. It's a great looking ride.
