This is the first weathering job i ever did, i think i was between 8-10 when i did this, all i used was grandmas old chalk

Here is the rear section with three mist coats on , The bad thing is is that i ran out of paint , hopefully i can finish it up later today

is the polishing process different if the paint is metallic?

i usually use model master and tamiya

yeah i sanded through some paint on hard edges on a torino once, if i do sand through should i strip the paint or add another coat?

Thanks for the tip jim , how long should i sand with each piece of sandpaper , is there a way that i can tell when i should move up to higher grits?

I am wondering if anybody has ever had these metallic parts and if they will change the colour of the parts when painted
