Thanks!
I need to get a good amount of work done on this before I head off to Europe next week so heres an Exhaust mockup shot.
I will be buying aluminum tube to finish off the pipes later this week
This is the first layout I actually plan to finish . The right side measures 91" x 16" , the back side measures 91" x 24" , the left side measures 59" x 16" , and finally there will be a lift out piece connecting the left and right sides that will be around 59" x 10 ".
This layout will be entirley fictional and set in either southern or central washington in the late 60's to late 70's to give me a wide selection of locomotives and rolling stock to work with.
I am currently working on a track plan that will hopefully be finished by late July / early August
The front suspension / engine bay have been painted , its not the cleanest paintjob , but good enough for me.
I need some help , I am debating stripping the chrome and painting it silver , do you think it would look nice?
Since the front wheels would not fit on the kits spindles , I cut off the mounting points from the 67 chevelle kit and glued them on to the kits spindles. The new wheel mounting points will also lower the front ride height , which I wanted
Nice start! , I was thinking about making mine a little more old school with torq thrusts and wide rear tires but I couldnt find big enough tires to fit the wheels
Here is our little smoker , we've had it for almost 3 years. Sadly It rains so much in Vancouver that I only get to bbq for a couple months during the year
