  1. Good stuff John, I'm always glad to see your work.
  2. It has definitely had a rough go of it..LOL The frame rails and cross member pieces are metal. Why they made it that way I don't know... Its a great kit and if you use some good epoxy on the assembly of the frame it will turn out great.
  3. The tarp is made from Kleenex tissue painted with acrylic craft paint and put in place while the paint (tissue) is still wet. The process is a little messy but it works. Its the same process I use for all my tarps (regardless of color), shop rags, towels and so on. Handling the wet tissue will always cause some tears but it is easy enough to patch by just laying on some new tissue and painting it the same color as the tarp. The painted (wet) tissue will create its own natural folds and creases as it molds to the object it is placed on. Thanks!
  4. Thanks guys....The ground work can be challenging but it is sure fun to do...Especially as you see it come together. Thanks again!
  5. Nice work!
  6. Super clean as always John....Nice!
  7. Good stuff John!
  8. They are very plentiful in the Super classes...I've done 4 roadsters as models myself. Thanks John!
  9. Thanks much fellas....Glad you like it!
  10. Thanks fellas, Scott, it is all paint and I was trying to capture the look of a modern NHRA type car and Alan the body doesn't come off. Thanks again guys!
  11. Older build with MM paints and clear with a mix of Slixx decals....
  12. Or whats left of it. Beat up old Chevy used to be a tow truck....
  13. I built this truck many years ago based on a truck that I used to see at least twice a week running the back roads of Tennessee where I grew up. This is the dreaded metal frame kit but I used epoxy and it stayed together. lots of weathering and some light abuse done to it. Thanks!
  14. This is the type of diorama that is enjoyable to look at because you can never catch all the details that are there the first time you look. This is a fine example of what most garages (in the real world) look like. There just aren't many Nascar clean garages around. You've done a wonderful garage here and I truly enjoy looking at the pics you've posted. Great stuff!
  15. Thanks Richard and again to all you fellas!
  16. Stupendous work Chris! I truly love all the detail work you're putting into this build....Keep it going!
  17. I'm enjoying this Joe...All great detail work you're doing. Keep at it!
  18. I wondered who the guy was walking around with a clip board.... LOL!
  19. LOL.....
  20. That is a fantastic build with lots of great details.....Nice Job!
  21. Thanks guys, Rob, I appreciate your opinion (and agree that most dios need a junker car) but, I built it to be different and so that it would be a little more unique. if I had added a car it would have at that point become another junked car dio...which I have done my share of and didn't want to do on this build. Thanks again fellas!
  22. This is a small 1/25 dio that I did with some scrap and left over junk pieces. I truly enjoy creating this type of dio scene with parts box stuff.
  23. That is a very clean build with nice paint...Good job!
  24. Looks good...Great color choice!
