I'd like to see Revell retool the 66 Chevelle Wagon into a 67 Chevelle Wagon. Likewise the 66 El Camino into a 67.

So it's the victim's fault?
Sometimes it is. Like I said, it's up to smarter folks than me to figure that out.
-
Hmm ... seems to me that after an accident on track, unless your car is on fire you STAY IN THE CAR! Nothing could have happened had Ward done that one thing. Beyond that, smarter people than me will determine what actually transpired.

One of my favorites from the grandfather/father era was "You'd complain if you were hung with a new rope."
Another one, which I adopted as a father was "Finish your dinner, don't you know there are kids starving in [insert starving nation du jour here] who'd love to have that food?"
I was stopped in my tracks by a 6-year-old daughter who promptly retorted, "It would be moldy by the time it gets there!"
First heard the "starving kids" quote in grade school. One of my classmates replied to Sister "then box it up and send it to them." Sister was not amused.

Yeah, Rush hasn't been the same since John Rutsy left.

John,
I did a little bit of poking around and the only cowl hood for a 63 Nova that I could find was for the Trumpeter Nova. However, Competition Resin offers the cowl scoop that you could add to your hood in 3", 6" and 9" versions. Alternatively the cowl induction scoop is really not all that hard to make.

Well ... after what seems like an eternity of seeing everyone else come home from garage sales with loads o'good stuff, I finally did good! Found all these at a single garage sale. Total price? Right at $50.
Ah, I see my date stamp is off; these are from today.
-
If that happened here I have no doubt people would be shooting each other for water.
Well, of course they would; they shoot each other for lesser reasons.
-
Just a teensy bit of overkill for deer hunting.
Not when them frisky deer are shootin' back!

Way too scary to shop at. There are rabid bible pushers roaming the aisles, they play church music on the intercom, and when you check out they try to exorcise you!
Only one out of three correct, Harry? You fail! And here I thought you were smarter than that!

I know, I was just asking if it was another language.
Man, I HATE the internet! Our greatest "communication" tool and all it does is impede communication! I apologize for taking your post wrongly. The word in question is allegedly English (kinda) but the only person I've ever heard use it is from Scotland.

I would say nothing

aren't kids in Scouts at 7? Scouts have knives and learn proper handling. keeping children "safe" is the premise of the pussification of the American male. let's buy them plastic tricycles so Snowflake doesn't get a boo-boo.
cheeze ......
Scouts start to formally learn knife safety and handling as Bear Scouts (age 10).

So, you are telling me shyt is a foreign language?
Dude, it was a JOKE! You did see the winking emoticon, right? And, as far as I recall, that particular word is a British/Scottish pronunciation so, yeah, it's a "foreign" language. Sheesh!

ok I seriously need to stop buying kits.. I keep finding deals tho!
And that's the way it happens; innocently finding deals until one day we wake up and there's a hobby shop in our closet (or model room, or basement, or ...)

I drove a red '79 Z28.in high school in the mid 90's
Fastest.car in.school.
One of those Darn honey bee Datsuns got voted best car for senior.awards.
It was a pile too.
It was cute and the voters were girls!

I think most people would rather like where they shop at. I guess not.
What makes you think we don't like shopping there? I think it's rather cool to wander the aisles looking for useful stuff while listening to my band's playlist over the intercom.
-
I guess you are not aware of the no swearing policy?
But if it's in a foreign language it's not really swearing!
-
Nobody really wants to hear such shyt as that! I stopped watching the idiot box a long time ago because it's all bad news. I come here to "get away". I build to "get away". All you did with this post is make them more "famous" than they already are.......
Actually, some of us DO want to hear about it. I want to hear that they were caught! I want to hear that they are maxing out on charges! I want to hear that they're facing life without parole! One can only hope it's a very short life without parole. I don't think the 'general population' will be very thrilled with a couple of 'kid-killers'.

I suppose if I want a Fuelie convertible w/out the continental kit I will have to purchase another Black Widow along with the convertible, eh?
Or, I suppose, they could issue a kit with every possible available option in the box ...

And all of this because of the sale of a WW2 relic. I AM impressed!

We live in a hyper-PC society today. "Outrage" is the preferred state of mind for way too many people. Look at the whole Washingron Redskins thing. The team was known as the Redskins since the '20s... and suddenly now it's offensive?
I guess the Cleveland Indians need to change their name to the Cleveland Native Americans...
"Washington"

Ever notice how the car manufacturers like to employ the use of some hot, but sensible woman at their press conferences? Seems that every time, they find a department head that has a PHD in engineering, a MBA degree, but she is also hot? They always seem to use the "this is what the typical successful mom in the US should look like" type of woman...good looking, slender, fit, well educated, Caucasian, young active mom types.
Just a tongue in cheek comment.
Aw, man! I hate it when you have to start explaining the jokes. It drains away all the humor.
Revell 67 Camaro

Except all the road race 67-69 Camaros I've ever seen were small blocks; usually 302 cid. Big blocks are just too heavy. I've driven one; understeer does not begin to describe it's handling characteristics.
