Sometimes that happens to me.I usually wet sand with 1000 grit and lightly sand the area but you will learn.looks good for your first model.

nice paint work for your first model so.make sure to let everything dry before handling the body.let the body gas out even though it maybe dry also smell the body if it has the smell of paint that means its still drying you may get fingerprints and have to compound them out so let the body gas out.Have fun and happy modeling.
