  1. I love your Post-apoc stuff,I would buy the resin kits too,but I just can't justify spending that kind off money on a model. No matter what though, you are an excellent builder that I hope to see more work from.Mind if we see some shots from under the hood?
  2. Sweet another trail 70 owner on here!I got the Tamiya kit about a year or so ago to build my bike.
  3. DANG!My hobbytown has the new 69 old marked at 30 bucks! You did good, now if you want I can take that ford interceptor off your hands for ya.
  4. Not entirely sure what he's going to do about the engine, from what I saw of what was done so far he just had to finish the front spolier/body kit before he started the engine area.
  5. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?ItemGroup=HBS1210&Maker1=AOS&SeriesID=157 http://www.hlj.com/shows/aoshima2012.html Looks pretty sweet.Better than having to pay high prices for the AMT blueprinter trio set.
  6. That's really cool, looks like something that could have been a concept car or something.
  7. Whoa afx's just right down the road from me in Nashville. On the other hand I found this guy at the ACME show that is making a conversion kit that even includes the revell parts pack engine for the car, going to be around 20 bucks but has way more than this kit.In about a few weeks he's suppost to have them into production. It's called "Panhandle Resin". PM me for his e-mail,I don't want to post it out in the open.

I remember looking thought the build thread saying that this one is gonna be pretty cool.It turned out just a cool as I thought it would.Great build.
  9. Thanks for that bit of info Steve,I'll be sure to check that out.
  10. Can I find this episode anywheres online,I don't get speed and placed in the conteset.
  11. Thats exactly what came to mind with this one.
  12. While on the road talking to a modeling buddy of mine he started talking about his favorite car he's ever owned a 1968 Oldsmobile 442 convertible with a Hurst shifter, black on black with a red pinstripe and black rallyes.A very cool car and I have been tinkering with building one for him. After searching the bay I have discovered that Johan made a promo of the 68 but they are ungodly expensive, much less for me to risk hacking one up making a convertible. Now on the flip side the AMT 69 kit is dog dirt cheap and maintains most ot the body lines and just needs a new front/rear bumper grille and hood as far as I have seen. There is a caster that sells a 68 kit and I'm sure that if I ask to buy the parts I need ,not the entire kit, that I can get them.Is there anything else I might need to know about this?
  13. Exactly my thoughts,or with enough work the fastest pit bike ever.
  14. Thats all reall cool until a turn has to be made, lol.Very interesting.
  15. You know I think a Machine gun is a fair trade for a roof top.
  16. I think thats effective use of lighting right there.Kinda wish the car I drove did something like that.
  17. I find it interesting that if you win you pack up your winning kit and never see it again.Kinda odd.
  18. After your Ford Pu I am really excited about this one!Do you know what other cars/trucks they have in mind for add on kits?
  19. Talk about a scary ride,very cool.
