i built this to go along with the 1:1 mustang i'm going build for Susan G Komen breast cancer. its the first model i've completed in about 7 years. i used the revell 93' svt cobra i had laying around after i hacked it up to much from a previous build. i had to reconstruct the engine bay, the back seat, and the back of the chassis. after i got it to where i could work with i narrowed the front k member from the 05 mustang kit and added airbags, and the rear end from the same kit. then i took the engine and made a engine cover to look like the new 5.0 coyote, looks pretty good i think. then i took the rims from the new challenger and made them fit. then i made a roll bar and a custom sound system set up. painted it in smoke grey pearl and hot magenta and sliver. added plenty of the pink ribbons like on the seats and engine cover and then the fenders. then i decided to take a garter i had laying around and make a bass/amp for it and add that in. and here it is "under glass"

well ive done some work on this. cut the front bumper off and i had the cut the front suspension and slash guard thing out for the 05 4.6 im going turn into the new coyote 5.0. and im still trying to figure out the front. heres some pictures finally. choice of wheels, im thinking the ones from the 05 mustang.

ive done alittle work on the trailer. made a little work area and the wall and door for the living area. and the upper door for the back been kinda slow on it. im going work on the living area as soon as i get more supply for all the cabinets i gotta make

i think its real. the brake lines, even the wire to the alt. and the tire marks on the ground, can that even be done with models? if its a model its a large scale for sure. it just looks to perfect to be a model.

so i got the miata in the mail today. opened it up and grabbed my cobra body and the shelby 1 body and the cobra is smaller and the shelby 1 is bigger. i can try to cut the shelby 1 down and try to make it work but im thinking itll look funky and im not sure of where to cut it? should i try to graft the head lights in and then the grill opening? or what haha? the back end i just have to narrow the shelby 1 taillight panel down. other than that im kinda stuck or where to cut

i do have one spare LS but it might go in a nova, ive got a few 5.0s but i might try to make a new coyote 5.0 for this beast. i've thought about making a turbo for the stock engine but the engine it self isnt that detailed and thats why i want to swap an engine in. i want to update the look of the car and motor. kinda a 2015 miata concept car type i guess

won a revell mazda mx5 miata off ebay a couple days ago. should be here in a couple days and i need some ideas for it. i dont like then engine in it and i have a few extra V8s sitting around so i'm thinking a motor swap for sure. maybe a body kit? im not into the turner stuff so maybe this for a body kit. or maybe go for more of the cobra concept car from 05? i wanna do it like a stock looking body and crazy high horse power car. i know on paint im using metal flake blue and sliver stripe down the center. on wheels im thinking a 5 spoke muscle car type rim and kinda meaty tires. i want it to be a guys car and look like the guy that drives it could kill you with his hands.

what about with the football stuff going on and the Superbowl coming up, we do a tailgating one? like full out tailgater with bunch of tvs, sound systems, bbq, all the good stuff?

this kinda goes with a tow truck i saw at a tailgate party. it had the jerry cans that were subs, had the crane with tire straps that when winched up has a big flat screen tv come out from the back of the bed. on the side cabinets had pull out BBQs in them and above the crane where tires should be was a smoker but looked like tires. and it had the diamond plate bedding that had pockets when opened had the speakers and one was a cooler. the truck it self was a 2010 ford f450 superduty, the back window rolled down and reveled a score bored. and every time a team made a touch down all the lights and horns went crazy. but if you saw this rolling down the road youd think it was goin go pick a car up for a tow. it was awesome and if i had that kinda money i would make one to

i decided to glue the front chassis to the rear/bed part. then i finally got all 6 of the same tires that match and fit the rims and look good. so i did alittle test fit and making sure the chassis is level and the right height. and put the cab on and took a couple pictures. looks pretty good to me. make me more excited to finish it. i plan on adding about 1/2 inch below the cab and about 3/4 inch front bumper and make some kind of grill guard. kinda like on a semi truck. then i might build a dash to resemble a semi and then i gotta make the drive shafts, exhaust, and maybe see about chopping up some 53 ford fenders for the bed, i have a few sets. and i want to add something so the bed doesnt look so flat. then ill work on the trailer/hauler. heres some pictures of the truck. and yes thats the shifter from the peterbuilt in the cab. cant remember where the seats came from but i wanna say a mustang. they remind me of semi truck seats thou and they fitted really good. heres what im thinking with the fenders, bumper, and sides

im debating on rather or not making it taller all the way to the front, up over the living quarters. then ill be able to haul 4 cars plus have the living quarters. or maybe just after the fifth wheel or bedroom area. im working on making a belly tanker that would fit perfect in the shorter area of it. and i have some diamond plate stuff the would work as the floor. im not sure on the look of it after thou. i think it would look to big unless i some how could make it slope the whole way back or something. any ideas? ok so here what im kinda thinking. option 1 option 2 option 3 and any other ideas please tell me. right now i can get the rock buggy and ether mustang or capri in. if i do my 32 fords i can get the coupe and 5 window in plus any other car. i would love to get 4 cars in, ill be happy with getting 3 normal length cars in. and i really really dont want to make it longer.

i got a few hours of work done on mine today. first i worked on gettin the cummings finished and marked up then i made the stacks then worked on the bed then the trailer sides then wanted to see what itll look like then wanted to see it with some of my cars outside of it heres the bronco and bronco rock buggy thats 90% scratch built and heres the buggy, 65 boss 429 mustang, and the t-top 351 cleveland powered capri

i got the trailer and got stuff planed out in it and i still want to haul 2 cars and have a living area so it looks like the trailer is going get chopped up. heres my new plan and heres what im thinking on the inside going do some work on it today

i know the feeling. i've got 3 more i'm doing at the same time. i'm almost done with a custom rock buggy thats 90% scratch built. bronco i've swap front ends on and lifted and more custom stuff and then a 65 mustang boss 429 test car with opening doors and trunk. this truck i figured would make me want to finish all my others going on haha. i've not finished a model in over 4 years haha.

now i just need to go to hobby town and get the trailer. any one know where i can get the model king camper/racer wedge?
