  1. How about this? The answer: MODEL!!
  2. Or better yet, natural gas. I guess using oil must be an east coast/regional thing, because almost nobody does it that way here... natrural gas is how we do it. Also gas clothes dryer, cooking.
  3. Quick, while nobody's looking... Take out the washer fluid tank and paint it flat white with a black cap, then glue it back in. I won't say a word...
  4. It looks a little more like the 280Z...which is good! I think the arrow-shaped lights are kinda cool. Different, not just the usual expected stuff. http://www.motorauthority.com/gallery/2009...n-370z-002.html
  5. Sice I posted this morning, gas has down a little more today...$1.77 at BP and at Valero down the street from me...
  6. It's been a year of extremes in many areas. Gas here (we usually pay among the highest prices in America in the Chicago area) are around $1.80/gal today. Just 4 months ago I was paying $4.25/gal for regular!
  7. George... I made it easy for you...I included a link in my answer. All ya hafta do is click on it!
  8. Like Mark Twain said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics"! My numbers say Italy has the most cars per capita...
  9. I guess you guys are better at this than I thought! You're right, it's real! http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2006/...o-v8-speedster/ Next ROM (harder, I hope!) coming MONDAY!
  10. The figures I saw say Wyoming first, Iowa second. Which country has the most cars per capita??? Hint: it ain't us!!!
  11. Another one to try without looking it up: Who was issued the first driver's license? Hint: It is a well-known person in the automotive world.
  12. Try this one without looking it up: Which US state has the most cars per capita?
  13. If you can wait a little bit, the November MCM has an excellent in-depth feature by Bill Geary ("Mr. Obsessive") on how to open and hinge doors, and how to create realistic hinges and doorjambs. Look for it!
  14. I noticed the headers, too... they don't look anything like the ones on the box illustration...
  15. Something like "I have no use for any automobile that has more spark plugs than a cow has teats"... No idea on the origin of "Stove Bolt"...
  16. And speaking of odd slogans, how about: "Relieves gas pains". "Surprisingly ordinary prices". Hint: same manufacturer used both slogans.
  17. Cadillac. Strange slogan then, strange slogan now... ("life, liberty and the pursuit").
  18. Amelia Earhart, "In the air it's aeroplaning, on the sea it's aquaplaning, but on the land it's Terraplaning."
  19. Stutz Bearcat and Mercer Raceabout... the Vipers of their day???
  20. I like the rodded versions... but I really like the stock version. Nice!
  21. That stock one is riding pretty high! 4WD???
  22. I used to do ALL my art the "old fashioned" way... pecils, markers, airbrush and acrylic paint. But once I got good at Photoshop, I liked it so much that I never went back to the old way. At first it felt very weird to me... when drawing or painting in Photoshop you don't get the tactile sensation that you get by running a pencil or brush across paper... it's really a totally different feeling, and one that's quite weird until you get used to it. I didn't like it at all at first, but since my business is graphic design and illustration, I HAD to make the switch to digital, because that's the way the industry went. But now that I've gotten pretty good with Photoshop, I like it! No more clogged airbrushes! And I save a fortune in paint! Plus I never run out of a color right in the middle of something...
