BTW... you guys in Oregon got 4" of snow? That's a lot for you, I guess. Forecast here in northern Illinois tonight: 10-12" of snow overnight. Even more closer to the Wisconsin border... and then more expected on Saturday!

If NASCAR kits were selling in numbers large enough for Revell to cover licensing costs and still make a profit. they'd still be making them! Obviously the combination of licensing fees and slow sales convinced Revell to stop NASCAR kit production. It's Business 101: if the product can't be sold at a profit, you don't sell the product.

Ok, guys, here's the deal: Even though I'm the one that started this thread, I think it's time to close up shop here. By now, I think that everyone who has wanted to add their opinions to this topic has had the chance to do so, and I for one am glad you all participated, no matter what your opinion. I think it's been a great thread with a lot of valid (and some not so valid) points made, but ultimately we're going to have to "agree to disagree". I think it's best we get off our soapboxes now and go back to talking about little cars instead of big ones. Thanks to all for a great discussion!
