Seriously? In the US? In 2014? I didn't think it was possible to live in an area in the US that was so remote that you get only two channels. Seems to me that with a halfway decent over-the-air TV antenna you could pick up at least several signals, if not more.

My HS was five stories tall. FIVE. It was freaking HUGE. Probably the biggest HS, both physically and as far as number of students, in all of Chicago...and we also has four minutes between classes. You really had to plan your day... depending on where the two classes were, no way could you go from class A to your locker to Class B in four minutes. Impossible.

What usually happens to me is I'll be sitting in the left turn lane, maybe 3-4 cars back... waiting for the arrow. The arrow comes on, and person 1 in line is asleep at the wheel (or texting or shaving or putting on mascara or whatever clueless wonders do behind the wheel)... the horns start honking, clueless wonder finally wakes up and makes the turn, so do cars two and three... guess when the turn arrow goes red? Yup... me...

Fred... first class work. That is very cool... Your foiling is super sharp... especially around the wipers. Doesn't get much better than that.

Very sharp, crisp and clean, I like that. Your attention to detail, like on the cowl vent slots and the opened grille, is terrific. Nice work! My only suggestion is a black wash on the hubcaps to highlight the details and give them some depth... it would take away the "toy" look.

Not usually a fan of the giant wheel look, but in this case it works pretty well. Maybe because I've always liked chrome 5-spoke wheels... Also, a beautiful color choice. But... I see some major problems with the fit of the hood and the windshield. You probably should have resolved those issues, not just "build around them." And finally... not so sure that the "SIXPACK" plates make any sense on this car...

Nice work so far. I'll be watching...

Beautiful work. I wish I had anywhere near the patience you do. That engine is just spectacular. Is that oil filler tube one of Marvin;s parts?

The last time I was stopped for speeding, I asked the cop why he stopped me. I said that yes, technically I was speeding, but I wasn't going any faster than everyone else. I was just keeping with the flow of traffic... so why single me out? His answer: I can only stop one car at a time.

Wrap the pencil with teflon tape, as Andy said... then instead of glue, paint the chain with clear enamel or acrylic and let dry... maybe 2-3 coats total, for a bit of added rigidity. The clear will act as a "glue," and the teflon tape will slide right off. The wheel won't be as strong as if you had used CA glue, so be careful when you handle it.
