Just out of curiosity, I went back and re-read every single post in this thread. There was exactly ONE post that was critical of the car in question. ONE. And that poster said that he thought the car was ugly, which of course he has every right to think. Sorry, but I guess I missed the "bashing" you seem to be so upset about.

Hmmm... what you describe sounds a lot like the USPS! Union wages, benefits, pension, etc., all federal holidays off, mangled mazines delivered... and oh yeah... losing billions of dollars every year!

Terry's original point is well taken, and I se what he's saying (although I disagree with his premise)... but I agree with you that MCM should (and does) cover a wider range of model cars besides just injection-molded plastic kits.

What are the odds that the car would be shot at the precisely correct angle to hide the passenger side pillar behind the vent glass post??? If Bill is correct and all '61-'68 Continentals did in fact have B-pillars, then this is either a doctored photo or some sort of pre-production photo from Ford showing what a pillarless hardtop would have looked like. It's obviously a studio shot... maybe a "what if" from Ford.
