  1. Have you ever seen Zepparella? They're an all-girl Zepellin tribute band... I found them completely by accident on youtube the other day. They're actually very good!
  2. Already???!!! I was told we had until 6PM...
  3. You're probably right.
  4. I understand that the backside of the firewall is the front of the interior. My point is, those holes are incorrect, they don't exist on the real car and they should be filled. I guess I wasn't being blunt enough...
  5. I don't understand your explanation. but I do know that the real car doesn't have giant holes there for the passenger to put their foot through...
  6. All that effort just to make decals???!!! Geez, do you churn your own butter, too???
  7. What's up with that big hole in the passenger side floorboard?
  8. I've heard that a coat of Future will also "seal" any ghosting. Never tired it myself, but IIRC MrObsessive uses that technique.
  9. Silkscreening is a pretty involved process... probably way more than the average modeler would want to take on.
  10. Yeah, they're being good... but can we puhleeeeeeeze get back on topic??? Uh.. what was the topic?
  11. Cranky, are you talking about a machine to die-cut vinyl? If so, you could only do one-color "decals" (stickers, actually).... the color that the vinyl sheet is. Right???
  12. Come out, come out, wherever you are! Time to tell us how you are able to print with white ink on a printer where white ink isn't available... He's talking about companies that print decals professionally, like the decals you get in kits.
  13. And watch your language...
  14. The car pictured is a Panhard 24CT (not "TC!")... introduced in 1963 for the 1964 model year, and built through 1967. Here is the original French brochure. I.m pretty sure that the manufacturer got the name of their own car right! http://storm.oldcarmanualproject.com/panhard24ct.htm They looked pretty much the same throughout the entire run, so anyone who guessed anywhere from 1963 to 1967 got it "right," more or less! 15. Yeah, I'll bet you hear a lot of voices in your head...
  16. A couple of the guys have told you the right answer. Very thin drill bits don't have much material there... remember, the diameter of the bit is one thing, there's actually much less material there because of the spiral cut. The trick, as stated, is to chuck the bit so that only as much of the bit that you need to get through whatever you're drilling is showing. The shorter the exposed part of the bit, the better. And let the bit do the work... it takes very little pressure to snap those small bits. I know, because I've done it more times than I want to admit to!
  17. Do you guys realize we've gone six pages worth of back and forth on a fairly contentious topic without anyone being a jerk or causing this to be locked? OMG... can it be? Are we all growing up???!!!
  18. You obviously have never seen a Danbury Mint diecast...
  19. Maybe not. Maybe we can all keep this going without any problems. So far so good...
