  1. Emmanuel, that looks really good. Nice job.
  2. Wouldn't the tin foil look a little "lumpy" with Elmer's glue under it. I realize you would do the best you could to smooth it out properly, but still.... I realize and understand the stated cost issues, but personally, I'd stick with BMF.
  3. Sounds great Michael. Good luck with your Plymouth.
  4. Looks like it might be either a '66 or '67.
  5. WOW......!!!!!! That certainly is quite a collection you've got there Ben.
  6. Here are some pics of interiors that I've done in Red. First up is the interior for a '56 Pontiac promo I built. While the carpet was flocked in Gray and I used some upholstery decals, the seats and parts of the door panels were flocked in Red. The door panels have chrome trim and cranks & handles. The dash was painted a gloss red along with the steering wheel. Next up is the interior for a diecast '53 Cadillac. Again, while the carpet is done in a dark Gray flocking, the seats and door panels were done with both flat Red paint and Red flocking with some Red wire added for upholstery piping.
  7. That looks great Tulio. Nice job. It reminds me of a display piece that a departed modeler named Joe Cavorley made about 20 or 25 years ago showing all the assembled chassis parts for a '32 Ford plus some other parts all mounted in a Ford display truck.

    '50 Olds

Derrick, that is really sharp looking.
  9. Beautiful job as usual Harry. You whipped this one out in record time.
  10. You can try looking on EBAY. They show about 6 or 8 '54 Convertibles...... Chevy, Ford, Corvette, Buick.
  11. Nice job Al. Man, you are knocking out the models like a man on fire..!!
  12. That looks great. I've often thought about trying to build a model of a stock Willys.
  13. Nice job. I like the Ford taillights set into the grille bar. BTW, FYI those grille bars are from a '55 Oldsmobile, not a Chrysler.
  14. Harry, that looks fantastic. As usual your detailing and scratchbuilding skills are top notch. Another great job Harry.
  15. You could try converting the '54 Chevy Sedan Delivery, although I think it's 1/24 scale.
  16. Welcome to our plastic playground Ed. Hope you don't melt much plastic in the "stinkworks".
  17. Wow, where are my sunglasses..!! That looks great Tulio. You really love those '57 Fords don't you?
  18. Yuri, that is a beautiful model. You did a wonderful job.
  19. They can't all be "easy" Harry. We all know that you are up to the challenge. After all, it's only plastic...... and you're smarter...!!!
  20. My son-in-law's absolute favorite car is the '67 Vette. I sent this Link to my daughter telling her that if she REALLY, REALLY loves her hubby, she should bid on and win this Vette for him...... I know that's not gonna happen.
  21. Wow Al, what great scores at such low prices. Sounds like you hit a Home Run at your meeting last night. I'd love to get my hands on one of those Ford Woodys. Can't wait to see how they turn out. I could see the Ford in a light Blue and the Edsel in a Maroon-ish color.
  22. Tom, that looks really great. The interior came out great in your Fotki pics. Nice work.
  23. That is great. He did a wonderful job and maybe he should build another one? How about it Uncle Shane..??
  24. My wife dropped me off to browse through my LHS while she went to have a prescription filled at our Target Pharmacy, and I picked up this... Since several members here commented that this will build up to a nice looking model if given some attention and TLC, I figured that I would give it a shot sometime down the road for my "Class of '57" builds. Then, when I arrived back home I found that my friendly mailman delivered an EBAY purchase that I made. I scored an Original, Unbuilt, Unpainted, 1959 Edsel kit. The box was in rough shape with some water damage, and the decal sheet is all yellowed, but everything is there except for one metal axle and the chassis, which I can get from Modelhaus. The glass will need some polishing but that is no big deal. This cool score is GREAT for my "Class of '59" builds.
